b	brielle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has everything you'd expect in a dollar store. Crafting supplies, kids toys, stationery, candles, etc. Cashiers are nice and help you find what you're looking for. I wonder how old you have to be to work here.

Products are mislabeled and staff are not helpful, friendly or willing to refund even when in the process of making a purchase and noticing the price difference! Prices are high...hardly a "dollar store". Recommend they read the reviews and make significant changes to staff training. In there x4 now and every time treated rudely when paying or asking a question. Also, noticed staff following me around for no reason????
T	Think Thicc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pulling your mask down for 2 seconds to smell a candle isn't a problem even when he is socially distanced from everyone in the store.. when you can go to a restaurant, sit down and take your mask off and that's okay. The employee then says "you have to just do the best you can".. how can you smell a candle with a mask on and do the best you can?

And I believe he was talking to a customer that he was friends with but he was talking about how he didn’t agree with the age of consent laws and how he plans to move somewhere else because of it… disgusting topic for a professional place. Cannot believe management allows these kind of discussions

I would recommend everyone stay far away from this hole that would be so abhorrent to people. We are all doing the best we can in this environment. Do better.
N	Nat on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would proudly give 0 stars if allowed. As someone who worked in customer service, the staff are berating customers. It is amazing how giving a little power to minimum wage workers changes humans for the worse. I will never go here. The "masks mandatory" are not a law, thus discriminating against people who are unable to wear a mask or simply wanting to smell candles. If the store called police, the police would probably say what the law is, cannot force people to wear masks because there is no provincial or federal laws to follow. They can pull it down to smell candles.

I know he was the manager because he said "I'm the manager" in his rant. He ordered her to leave the store instead of offering her to buy one of his masks he sells at the checkout for $1. His approach to customer service is appalling and I hope all patrons reconsider their business with the store. I do not approve of seeing treatment to nice humans that way. I will never shop there again and I am a local. And will be telling my friends. I will be driving to the dollar store in Gibsons if need be. But I will not support a business that treats people that way.
R	Ryan Canty on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very dangerous store to shop at! I was shopping here with my son, and one employee took his mask down for 2 seconds to smell a candle! Can you believe that?! I could practically see the covid-19 fly out of his nose and circle the room 50 times before the store owner could scream at him to leave. I do not feel safe in this store. If they clear out the whole store and sanitize everything, I would consider changing my review to 2 stars.
