When I walked in for my appointment the girl was discussing very loudly with the owner what price they should charge me. Why is there not a set price list? Why is the price different for different people?? When I was told what the cost was, it was extremely overpriced!!! I felt like I had to haggle. I agree with the previous review....this place is far too expensive. More professional service and better rates are available elsewhere.

i have been going to York laser for over 10 years and would not go anywhere else. Staff are amazing and have great knowledge of what they are doing, atmosphere is great. Would definitely recommend them to anyone, even my daughter is going and loves the staff. -Kam

Went to York Laser Center to get laser hair removal done on my face on March 18th and the lady at the front desk, Reet, was very hasty and just wanted me to get my treatment. I had told her I had an event coming up in a few days and I didn’t want any issues but she assured me that there will be no issues with the laser treatment. I have gotten both IPL and Soft Light Laser done before but on their own, at this location they did both the lasers on my face one after another. I also told the person that I did not want to get my forehead done because I did not have any hair growth there but she insisted and told me the colour would be different on my forehead if I didn’t get it done. Throughout the session both me and my mother were both discussing with Reet how we usually have quite sensitive skin and my mother even mentioned how she had issues the day after when she used to get laser done, but the esthetician just told her that her issues were because of her improper aftercare. Now one day after the appointment my face is still swollen and I have acne that I have never had before all over my face. It hurts and it itches immensely and I can barely touch my face. I also need to go to a business event like this, which is humiliating. I would’ve been happier if she had just done a consultation and rebooked me for another day rather than using a very intense procedure on my face a few days before an event. I also talked to a doctor about my skin issues and he mentioned that the setting was probably too high, which is why my skin reacted like this. During my laser session the lady also mentioned how doctors are useless and she knows more than any doctor. From what I'm gathering is that she just wanted to take my money and get the procedure over with and not do any sort of consultation to look at my skin first, which a doctor, such as a dermatologist would do. When I went back to this location, they were telling me that this doesn't happen to 90 - 99% of people (big margin of error right?). Now they did offer some sort of free acne session, but I do not trust these people with my skin at all. I have never had these issues before and I have gotten laser done at multiple different places in multiple cities without issues. Avoid at all costs if you care about your skin. I regret my decision to even get laser done and now I will be avoiding it at all costs unless it is done by a proper dermatologist who knows what they're doing.

I have been going to York laser Center for about a year now. They customize treatments to suit different skin needs. Extremely friendly, professional, and honest . They will not push different services on you if it is not needed. I definitely recommend these guys to everyone!

Very bad experience with this lady. I gave her so much respect as she is my granny age. This lady is just collecting money not giving services so that her daughter can study in UK. I wasted my 5 sessions with her. When i said to her i need to get my arms done she just did arms not hands. Even she dont know that hands are included. Tried to be so professional ,, as to professionals we dont need to tell that while doing arms laser u need to do hands also. As its understood that hands are included too. So, i wssted 5 sessions too much money. Thank GOD i am getting laser from someone else who is very professional just not only money minded.
