Lead by VLad (Course Director), his team of experienced Journey persons teach in a practical and informative manner that gives the student a solid base upon which to build their future career in the trades. My experience as a student was fulfilling and encouraging, starting with the excellent online tutorials provided by Nardo. Nardo’s decades of construction management and execution is shared effectively with the students. Steve, my practical training instructor, provided effective hands on leadership and tutorial in several trades. I found Steve approachable and inspiring. I was able to sample each trade effectively in a realistic environment. Upon graduating, after being referred by the school, I have assumed a position in an industry leading company. If one’s work life is headed in the direction of the construction trades, I highly recommend York Construction Academy’s practical Trade Certificate program. Derek Lambie

Be sure you have an idea what you want to get out of the course so that you can get the most out of it. The instructors are great and will help you achieve your goal.

It’s really amazing learning everything that has to do with building construction theoretically and practically within a short period of time. My area of mental discipline is law but I decided to get my hands on building construction because of the enormous opportunities it avails. Im glad I made the right choice by enrolling at York Construction Academy. I’m now a proud builder- don’t play with me! Many thanks to YCA. N	Nathaniel Anderson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an amazing school to attend if you are looking to get into Home Renovations. The tuition fee is reasonably priced and affordable. The school is very accommodating with life stress or situations that may arise. The In- school learning part of the program was amazing. Leonardo Fortunato or a.ka. Nardo (Course Instructor for classroom) was amazing. He is quite knowledgeable and he breaks the textbook information down so that anyone maybe able to understand. He adds some humor to the class as well to make it more fun. This company gets a five star rating from me!

You have question's? They have answer's! If you've never worked in construction before, don't let that intimidate you. The instructor's are here to help with ton's of knowledge, patience & understanding in a laid back atmosphere that is community driven. What more can you ask for? Make your next move, your best move! The instructors B and Steve went above and beyond in showing us the tricks of the trades. Some of us went in with a bit of knowledge and others none. We all came out of it feeling confident in what we were doing, be it demolition, framing, electrical, drywall, mudding/taping, painting, tiling and finish work. This course is well worth it for anyone willing to learn how to get into construction and the trades. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

The school makes you feel welcome regardless of your skill level. Our theoretical instructor, Nardo, was awesome at teaching. Probably one of the best instructors I've ever had. Everything was delivered smoothly. He made sure everyone understood the lessons, went into the smallest details, and answered all of our questions. Steve, and B were great practical instructors that guided us throughout the whole process of building a small house inside the school's facility. The school could also help with job placement if you need one. Kudos to Vlad and the team.

Also they will find you jobs if you are interested. They know the right people. Good way to get in the construction game. Comparing to all the materials and tools you use during the classes, it is very reasonably priced. Nardo, Steve, queen B they all are amazing and very passionate people. And Vlad, The boss!
