★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A classic downtown pub. Food was all homemade and delicious. Server was fun and efficient. She even looked up ingredients in their home cookbook for us. Service speed was moderate but we felt very welcome in our large group. I will definitely be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't love the experience. The beer prices are not listed, there's not a menu for beers and drinks, the waitress always seemed super hurried, the drinks sometimes came warm and, last but not least, we were sweating inside the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite restaurants/pubs in Winnipeg. A cozy hangout downtown with great food at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is just perfect and everything I've ever ordered (local beers and food) is always delicious. Love it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Yellow Dog is my favourite pub in Winnipeg. It has great food, it's right between downtown and the exchange district, and the beer selection is basically all local brews. I was just there a few nights ago and they had a beer from almost every brewery in the city, they really spread the love around among all the local craft breweries. Also, I think anyone can feel comfortable there, the vibe is welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were great and super nice and helpful. The beer selection was smaller but good. I got the club sandwich which was satisfying. The potato option is chips and not fries. I much prefer fries but the chips did come with some onion dip so that helped them to stand out
