Born in Mexico City. In his early years, Leo has danced in various salsa groups and competed while living in Chicago in 1999. After moving to Winnipeg, Leo founded Salsa Explosion and became one of Winnipeg's largest Salsa promoters. He has been teaching salsa and bachata for the past 15 years, and continues to encourage and inspire his students to reach their highest goals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been dancing at Salsa Explosion for almost two years and have to say it's the best Latin dance school I have ever been too! They make you feel so welcome and make it so fun for everyone from beginner to advanced. They also have amazing kids classes of all ages, I would highly recommend to anyone, kids, parents, couples and singles just looking to learn and have fun! They also put on great social events perfect for a night out!
