I have no choice but to be with this company but it’s terrible service for a high price. It’s great for a short while, about a month, as they give you priority access but then it’s shoddy after that. They have oversold their satellites and there are too many customers fighting over the same bandwidth. “Up to 25MBs” is closer to 5.

The most unreliable internet service. Had the dish internet when I first moved to maxville. Paid 90$/month for a year and it did NOT work. I called over 10x and they kept promising it would work after an hour each time on the phone, I would dread having to call, super long wait times to get through to someone. We cancelled after the year contract was up. There is no other internet provider in our area, so when Xplornet offered us LTE internet, we wanted to try it. Promised us high speed internet. It was great for about a year, we were very happy that we finally had home internet after three years in Maxville. Then it stopped working properly. It went on and off nonstop. We couldn’t watch anything. We called them to come fix it, we were told our warranty was over and that we had to pay for someone to come fix it. 150$ later it still didn’t work. We had to pay another company to come and fix it. It worked for about six months. And now here we go again. It’s working on and off. It was my first call today, they promised it would work in about ten minutes, as there « tower was out of alignment » but I know it won’t be the last time I have to call for this issue. Sorry about the novel. But honestly, if you have ANY other option, take it!

Lately it's just worst than ever. They added a 125$ service charge when their equipment fails and needs to be replaced. I have a tower that is a little higher than average (anchored every 20ft by law) and I just had to pay 125$ service charge and the guy basically took pictures and left. Leaving me without internet (been out a week already). We had mentioned our tower more than once to every person we spoke to... how I this even legal. What if the next person decides they will not climb our tower even though it up to code, am I going to be charged again and again. The technician installed in there last year. A technician sent by xplornet...

I have been waiting for 3 months for a credit on my account to be paid out. Every single time I call I get a different answer as to the process and what to expect. I've called likely 10 times now to follow up (as instructed) but still have not received the credit. The customer service reps are always pleasant but whatever terrible processes are happening on the back end need to be fixed. I shouldn't have to spend hours trying to get my own money paid out nor wait months for it.

This Internet Provider is abusing those who like us in remote area have no other option but them. I have been paying 170$ a month for internet that never give us the speed we paid for, and on top of that often times we are without internet at all. We must then call and fight with them each time. The people who came to install were great. So sorry that they could not install because of all the trees on our street will definitely be calling them once we install a TV tower.

Company sent an installer out to verify if we had signal for LTE internet. Supposedly he found a perfect signal from a tower that was already 'full'. The tower he was supposed to use had zero signal. He was not authorized to install the internet. I was charged 86$ for nothing! IS THIS A SCAM??!!

Not impressed... we where a Silo customer before Xplornet bought them out. Today our internet service was disconnected as they wanted to retire a tower. No notice, just stopped working. Now we are without service for the next week. They where going to leave us without service for 3 weeks until I told them we would be leaving them. They required us to sign a contract and we may have to pay for the switch over we find out afterwards. Don't do business with them, find someone else.
