Mike was involved in the Medical Equipment industry for fourteen years as the co-owner/operator of MEDIchair Cranbrook & Castlegar in British Columbia. Out of the more than fifty franchises in Canada, MEDIchair Cranbrook was the fifth largest, and was honoured with the “Franchisee of the Year” award in 2005.
Mike sold MEDIchair in 2007 and started an overhead track Installation company. To date, he has completed over 3,500 lift installs and he is factory trained and certified by every major manufacturer – including CSA Fundamentals of Infection Control during Construction, Renovation or Maintenance of Health Care Facilities.
