C	Charity Sawicki on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will never return to this club, I went on New Year’s eve and coat checked my very nice Calvin Klein jacket trusting it in the hands of the employees here. Throughout the night I went on the stage when called up to dance with some other girls and my coat check ticket fell out of my back pocket where the owner himself told me he found it and gave it to one of his staff behind the coat check counter. While trying to explain and retrieve my coat because it was freezing outside the staff was beyond rude, didn’t want to help me and so I left my name and number for a call back when the night was over and all other coats had been taken where mine was left there they could call and let me know to go pick it up. Days went by no emails returns no call back. Finally after multiple attempts they had informed my my coat was gone. Do NOT leave your belongings with this place, my keys were in the pockets for my work and home and they could care less what happens to your stuff. Be careful people!!

Females always end up dropping their drink glasses, or just dropping entirely...so for those that have had terrible experiences, this place has now closed down.
Y	Yea Right on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hate the new Palomino the old Palomino was so much better with the Dance Floor being larger as well as having more indoor seating considering we live in Winnipeg. The patio is a nice feature during the months that it can actually be used. In the original the dance floor was a focal point for most of the bar now it is pushed to one side of about 35% of all seating and maybe 15% of all patrons can observe the dance floor. Moving the pal to a multi floor location with about 25% of possible seating on the patio was probably the worst move they could have made. Edit: forgot to mention the old pal had a parking lot, now you must walk extended distances in less than stellar areas downtown.
D	Denny on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mr Owner, I visit Winnipeg every two months from Hawaii to visit my ailing mother. Love the club… HOWEVER… when I was on the outdoor patio and had to go to the restroom, your power-tripping bouncer doorman stationed at the patio entrance lineup made me wait in line to get back in to join my friends after I went to the restroom… several times… even though he knew I was just going to use the restroom… and he was even arrogant enough to acknowledge that he was making me wait in line each time. Of course the doorman let several other people bypass the patio line. PLEASE put a port-a-potty on your patio so I can spend more time with my friends... or I guess I could buy less beer. p.s. I gave you two stars instead of one star because I otherwise enjoy your club
c	curtis larson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ been going to this bar for a long time . in the past 6months I've noticed a big change in how the staff interact with their customers. the waitresses ignore you if your not a big tipper and the bar tenders some of them are very rude and ignore me. it's a good thing there are 3 bars at least on if them will give me service. the new thing is when I enter the bar I'm frisked like I'm a criminal and and actually feel violated. last night I followed the rules and emptied my pockets with keys coins and cell phone in hand. I had some hard candies in my jacket pocket and the security guy demanded that I take every one of them out of my pocket. so demoralizing. I entered and gave my licence to the dude and it came up that I wasn't a member. has that been removed from my status as a good patron that has spent alot of money there over the years. fortunately the lady knew I was a regular and made excuses for their fault computer program.

I saw the bouncers booting out a few guys who were trying to act smart and ruining the night. Drinks are pretty cheap and they provide a great service! Just one thing: the dance floor is kinda small so it can get crowded sometimes.

K	Katie Rimmer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a bar, but the hot dog cart out front is what’s getting most the stars on this review Update: not sure how to reach out with the story, I’d rather not post it because it was a bad experience. Not with the establishment but with a person who was there, who choked me. I ran to the security and we couldn’t find him. (The handled it well) I left, got a hotdog and walked home. So it wasn’t the establishment but more the type of people in the bar attracts, that got the 3 stars. The pal is always a good time, minus this one incident.
