I always leave his trainings feeling inspired and trusting in the 'rightness' of working in this way both on a personal level and also in my work as a therapist. The wisdom of his teachings and the personable style in which he delivers it give me hope at a time when I feel that the world most needs it. He brings both the levity and gravitas of human experience into synergetic focus and facilitates a way to be with it all on a path with the least resistance.
H	Holographic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I studied for several years in Markus' Expressive Arts Therapy training program in Edmonton, AB -- I am continually blown away by Markus' level of expertise in the field and by his sincerity in both his professional role and as a person. He comes from a wealth of knowledge and personal experience - a pioneer in the field of Expressive Arts - and works internationally in a leading role, ever expanding his reach and depth. I found the program in Edmonton to be very enriching -- rather than giving a set of "formulas" to help people, Markus insists that therapy is "person specific, situation specific" and facilitates the group to learn through direct experience. He models the kind of presence and wisdom you hope to have as a practitioner. I grew as a facilitator and therapist during my time, and also as an artist -- expanding my range in painting, dance, music, and writing. Markus always highlight the importance that our experiences not stay in a bubble--- but that they integrate with our everyday lives. With one-on-one reflection and collaboration within the group, I was able to really absorb everything I learned in class and notice how it impacted my day-to-day. Can't say enough --- would highly recommend this program, and I hope to join Markus' training program in Hong Kong some day.

He is masterful at guiding a creative process which has the unique movement from one modality to another. For example, from painting to movement to writing to dialogue. This inter-modal process has the effect of both deepening and expanding awareness, and sensitivity. As a psychologist of 30 yrs, I would highly recommend this training which has many therapeutic benefits.
