★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Fraser Works at New Westminster if you are looking for the help about employment service. Their service is wonderful and helpful!
I just finished the Employment service workshop here. Normally I would be not very interested about such course, as I attended similar course before in other place and felt it liked same old talk. But this time I was surprised and impressed. The facilitator Raquel Montes is GREAT! She supplied so much most up-to-date information and organized the workshop interesting, made the workshop so valuable! I was also surprised so much I learned from resume writing and felt more confident for the future.
I also appreciate my case manager Grace Hoang. She is so nice and professional. She always answer my question patiently and gave me the appropriate advice.
They helped me when I was in difficult situation, I felt warm and hopeful.

They provided resources such as internet and phones when I didn't have my own, to assist in my job search. The workshops were very informative and interesting. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Anyone who needs a boost while looking for work should pop in here to see how they can help. What a great resource!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An extremely helpful facility to check out if you find yourself unemployed and need some assistance with any number of issues.
This assistance could include workshops on various employment related topics such as; unique and successful approaches to job search, effective resume writing, job interview techniques, changing fields, accessing further education etc. In addition, they provide a huge array of links to job posting sites, and temp agencies, an in house job board, desk top computers and printer access, phone access, free coffee and filtered h20.
The staff are very approachable, empathetic and knowledgable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Case managers are really nice, helpful and supportive. The trainings do help. I had an interview on the day they had their interview skills workshop, but one of the case managers (conducting the workshop) went out of the way and helped me the day prior with some personal guidance. She did a mock interview with me which helped me polish my interview skills and made me feel confident. Thanks to the team I got the job!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Summer, Fraser Works Coop helped me navigate job searching and applications by empowering me with knowledge and support, specifically:
Chris Genro who hosted a job search, resume, cover letter seminar from which I learned invaluable skills of tailoring applications during the pandemic
Sheena Cormier (my case manager) who helped me take pre-employment courses needed for work like Foodsafe Level 1 and Occupational First Aid Level 1
Although I have not met either in person, I have received such amazing help and feedback from both and I highly recommend Fraser Works Coop New Westminster for their professional and empathetic services in helping anyone underemployed from Covid to succeed in finding employment!
