This might be a slightly biased review, but even an unbiased person could tell you that the people, the food, the community and even the sunsets here are amazing.

Edit, 8 months later - I'm STILL receiving calls from you, roughly twice a month if not more frequently. I've answered a few and asked you polity to please leave me alone. My boyfriend has also given you a call and had a long conversation in which he was told "We never call anyone who hasn't asked to be contacted"...Well, this person would PLEASE not like to be contacted. At this point I'm in serious concern of the legitimacy of your organisation and hope anyone within it takes the time to look at just what your groups modus operandi is. Original Post: If this 'church' could stop calling me, that would be much appreciated. I've blocked two numbers so far, and now a third registered to you is harassing me and leaving me voicemails. Learn where to market, I'm an atheist who lives 5+ hours away from you. I'm sure there must be a large group of people more open to what you're offering.

Couldn't ask for a better youth camp for my children. As a Bible Institute it is amazing! Great sense of family and belonging. The staff is friendly kind and caring

I have had the pleasure of attending some WOLBI events and functions over the past year and a half. This review therefore is a conglomeration of my experience and thoughts on this post-secondary institution. I would begin by separating theology and methodology in my review. From my research, if you are looking for teaching from a Christian perspective that is based on sound Biblical principles, then you have come to the right place – however I found it lacking in depth at times. Too much information is given with little time to delve deeper into various aspects (bear in mind this is typical of post-secondary institutions anyways). As an aside here, I don't think one can properly digest information from an intensive one to two-week course (and especially not with 18 one after the other). In short, while course content is advertised as “intensive”, to be able to finish 1 course per two weeks begs the question as to how much knowledge the student is realistically accruing. Moving on to methodology, I felt like the institution was attempting to put a campus atmosphere on a facility meant for a day camp. Corporate has obviously seen this strategy has been unsuccessful, as there have been recent renovations to various parts of the facility to update it. The result is much better, though some work still needs to be done. On the academic side, credits are only transferable to TRACS members or around 2 years of credit time at Christian Colleges. This means serious students must start at square one in the secular post-secondary environment once they are done. Universities like Liberty (Virginia) and Redeemer (Hamilton) give a Christian environment while giving you transferable credits that will be accepted to universities such as UWO, UBC, UT, etc. in the event of a transfer. Thus, for the serious academically inclined student, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere for credit hours that can not only be earned in a Christian environment but that can also be used in the real-life workplace. In closing, this place has awesome camp programs, natural beauty, and five-star food! However, from an academic standpoint, while this institution may fit the needs of a select proportion of the student population, it has some qualities that serious academic students may want to avoid.

We had a great Family Day over there today. Everybody was so helpful, friendly and fun. Food was great. The place is beautiful with a creek running through the property. Can't wait for my daughter to go to their summer cam in July. My good friend also had her son study over there, heard only good things about this place. I don't understand how could anyone post an one star review for this place.
