From Heather going out of her way to help find a time for us to come by, to Gord's infectious positive energy and great chats on the day, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. It is so evident how much care and passion this entire family puts into their horses and providing perfect experiences to everyone. Some aspects that make them truly stand out is that they hold an informational session before each ride, they match a horse to your personality, and they allow you time to bond with the horses in the arena prior to the trail ride. The trail ride itself is so stimulating and diverse in terrain - the property is so beautiful too. I'm already excited to go back!

I've seen other horses come that started out nervous or pushy and they end up following Gord and Heather around like puppy dogs. They've also were very attentive to my horse when she required eye surgery, helped me get her to the vet and then home again and made sure that the post-op care was done consistently. I'm so happy to have found this place for my horse!

Gord and Heather are very knowledgeable and took much time and patience training a newbie. Their family is terrific and we were blessed meeting them all! They are terrific neighbours and run a very wonderful operation. If you are ever looking to go out for fun, take some lessons or a place for your horse to call home. Gordy and Heather taught us so much and then let us hop on a horse and get out on the trail. Definitely worth the price. I had to send a tip because it should be more expensive. Make sure you ask to meet the barn cat. Dynamite experience!

He is knowledgeable, patient and has an excellent eye for the needs of each level of rider. Heather is an absolutely lovely person who is genuine in her support and encouragement. It is obvious that they both love to share their expertise and love of horses with others. The horses are so wonderful. They appear so content to be cared for so well in these beautiful surroundings. It is such a happy place for me to be each week. Thank you!!!!!

My own horse experience is decades long and covers caring for mine on my property and now, boarding my "good-boy gelding" with owners Gord & Heather at Windsong. Windsong is unequivocally horse-centred and unpretentious. Gord & Heather are always ready to chat, share info, encourage and learn. Extensive previous horse-boarding experience enables me to unreservedly recommend them and their facility. Windsong is my safe place and my horse's.

From the initial telephone call, to meeting Heather and Gordon, they love what they do and it shows. The horses are quiet and gentle. Gordon is patient and takes the time to explain the fundamentals of riding. An all around very enjoyable time!

I have been riding since I was 7 and eventually got to showing hunter in my teens. I have been at several barns, with many different coaches and I can not say enough about how amazing Gord is in both his teaching and training. If I could I would keep my horses here all year round!!
