Used to visit them all the time as a kid to buy turtle food and fish throughout the 1990s, even taking the subway all the way from Scarborough when I couldn't get a ride from my folks. Ran into the wife a few years ago, and had a nice chat. Hope they enjoy everlasting health and happiness for running such a great business for decades, and being nice to a kid like me back in the day.

E	Emmerald Sun on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This aquarium shop is opening! They are right next to a restaurant in the basement, the name board is indoor so they can be a bit tricky to find. I own four goldfishes from this store, they are all healthy and sturdy, survived many of my mistakes as a newbie. The owners are shy but genuinely care about their fish — all fishes are kept in large tanks at low stocking density, the water is clean and you can’t find a single dead or sick fish. It’s worth mentioning their price is decent even compared to aquariums in the North, make sure to visit before 2:30pm since they close pretty early!

The very friendly proprietor did mention she will often close up shop early if nobody is coming in. Jam packed with aquariums and what seemed like a wide variety of well cared for fish. Small spread of filters, pumps, and artificial plants/decorations. Emphasis is very much on the fish here. 3 common goldfish and a hefty bag of bulk fish food for $15, and some advice on proper feeding, can't go wrong.

They have loads of variety of fish to choose from, from aquatic to tropical fish and they are all healthy. Prices are very reasonable too! I will definitely go back there when we decide to expand our aquarium!
