Worst experience...I can't get to cancel my membership. All I'm asking is to cancel my membership and the Manager a MAN keeps telling me about a hold. The gym itself is fine, no issues but when it's time to cancel they are giving you such a difficult time. Can you imagine I owe nothing, my card keeps getting charged, and my contract says I can cancel anytime but I'm not getting the opportunity to cancel a simple membership? This is such a shame. I don't recommend signing any contract with them or signing up for any membership programs I'm so disappointed. I have small kids to feed instead of keep paying for a membership I can't use. Should I call in the media? This is ridiculous.

Been going to woman’s fitness club of Canada for 2 years now! It’s great quiet and clean gym! Love the customer service and the staff!

club is not being properly cleaned the machines are covered in dust and grime , machines not functioning properly , , machines in need of service are not being attended to in a timely fashion. this club is not up to the previous standards, since covid the the club has deteried and when concerns are being brought to the attention of the persons in charge , nothing is being done to resolve the situation. They continue to collect your dues but do little to keep the club in good standing. They have reduced the hours of the cleaning staff to compensate for the loss in membership revenue due to c-ovid This has resulted in the poor level of services . Complaints are daily , but front office staff , (not reception sign in, as they have no authority) ignore ,and do nothing to improve the situation . Perhaps a visit from the health department. Would help as the management do not seem to understand that dust and dirt breed bacteria and possibly mould that are extremely harmful to people with any type of respiratory or nasal issues. I hope the owners and operators of this club read this and realize they have a responsibility to the membership I will come forward and fix the situation. Thank you for your response and your quick and efficient action to the , situation as noted above. it was in fact not a "bitter " experience but a sad and unnecessary one , had the persons at the club listened and took action earlier this would not have been necessary, not only was it brought to their attention a number of times but pictures of the dirt and grime that were wiped of the machine , were shown to them , the cloth used showed black residue from the surface of only one of the many machines that needed attention, but a week went by and no action was taken. After working under WFC for 8 plus years I had and still have a great deal of respect for the owners of WFC Pickering club , they have always up held strong standards in there clubs. I am confident now that they were not properly kept informed of the issues in question . In future should I need to clear up any other questions or concerns I might have , I will direct them to the owners . The fast and efficient action the owners took to clear up the situation has fully restored my faith in WFC , and I hope to remain a member for many years to come. Thank you to all who participated in the time and effort taken to clean the machines , coming in on the Monday morning and seeing the job done was AWESOME. Thank you Diane Izzett

I loved the concept of this gym. I was a bit upset about the charging structure of the gym during the pandemic but after I called the gym unhappy, the owner called me personally and tried to resolve the issue best as he could. I appreciate the customer service. I don’t think many gyms would go to that extent which is why people are so wary of joining. Update in 2021 Guess what - they did still charge me … a year later. They said because I had no evidence I spoke to the manager I would still be charged for the months since Sept 2021, but how would I have evidence we spoke on the phone a year ago? Seems like their teams didn’t communicate to each other and of course that was my wallets fault. Manager is also very rude and will try to condescend/make it very difficult for you to cancel membership. I understand COVID has made it hard for gyms but the manager does not listen at all and will try to legalese his way into $22 a month. I’d have stayed if this place didn’t screw me over twice.

I started going to this gym a few months before the pandemic started. I called and was told my membership was being put on hold (I paid upfront for the whole year). After feeling comfortable with the province reopening, I called to see if could have my membership reactivated. I was told a manager would call me back. The manager called me back 3 days after and told me my membership expired 2 days after he called me and that there was no note to have my membership put on hold. I was never offered an extension or any support with regards to my issue. The sad thing is, I really loved this gym even though I only went a few times but wouldn't return due to the way they handled the situation.

Great staff… however.. Machines need tune ups, small selection in weights, all machines and racks are in front of walls - hard to work on form when you can’t see yourself. Also please update gym hours on Google. It’s been over a year now of incorrect hours

I have been going to this gym for years and always had a good experience. It is conveniently located inside the Pickering mall, the staff is very friendly and when I asked the manager a question or to do something for me I got a prompt response. I noticed they had added more free weights recently and would like to see a fresh coat of paint on the outdated walls’ color.

And telling me my membership is ending feb 2022 , like charge me and my 2 daughters for 4 months for no reason and not reimbursing the money back ! it’s a shame so many complaining about them doing that
