★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hours no longer support customer needs. I loved shopping here and relied on their amazing selection of exotic woods for my projects. Like many I work Mon to Fri and, now that you've decided to close on weekends, I have had to cancel all current and planned projects indefinitely. Why won't you consider Tues through Sat so that our weekend projects can still happen? Disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was flipping 15 amp breaker before buying. Clerk walks to me and tells me in a condescending attitude "we can't sell these anymore once you flip them, which ones did you flip" and puts them away. I was a regular business customer and thousands in purchases a year. Well those breakers are on the shelves, exposed, no sign no notice, and it's total b.s. what He said. Where did he get that idea or learned that total b.s.? I don't appreciate that treatment nor attitude. Very negative experience. Skipped and went to home hardware or straight to Nanaimo after that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All of the guys here are extremely helpful. What I appreciate the most is that they don't treat me differently that I am a woman buying lumber. It is worth the slightly higher cost than a big box stores to support local and get great help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to overpay for soaking wet lumber where there’s been zero attempt made to keep it nice or dry, and then be made fun of by the employees for buying said garbage, while they use a calculator and a notepad and take 20 minutes to add up your order, go here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is by far the most organized hardware/lumber store I have ever been in! Everything on overly shelf and on every wall is neat, tidy, labeled, and nicely displayed making it easy to find what you need. The staff are super helpful and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Knowledgeable staff, great service, low prices. They lost a star for that time I ordered 2x6's sight unseen: 40% of the lumber was not useable. Make sure you go there in person to select your lumber, otherwise they will ship you the dregs that no one wants.
