About Winakwa Community Club
Winakwa Community Centre hosted our 4th annual Winter Carnival on Feb 8, 2020. This event is a must attend event. With many indoor and outdoor activities throughout the day for kids and adults there is something for everyone. The highlight is the “Jam Can tournament”. We will continue to refine and improve this event with hopes of growing it each year. I would like to thank our volunteers that helped to make this day a memorable one. Without our volunteer’s events like this would not be possible. Our Community Centre gives our kids and adults a fun safe place to grow and be part of something bigger than themselves. With that in mind our board continues to put on events all year for our community to enjoy. Our winter & summer carnival, pancake breakfast, craft sales and lunch with Santa to name a few. We hope you can come to one or all of these events to enjoy them with us. We always enjoy having the students from WPC and Beliveau come out and volunteer and want to thank them all so much. If you would like to give back some time please give us a call at (204)253-4418. Save the date for our summer carnival! We are looking to amalgamate the carnival with our soccer jamboree at the end of June. We are looking forward to all the spring and summer activities this coming year. Hope to see you on the pitch and diamonds in 2020. It is going to be the best year yet.
