Most interesting museum; many artifacts on the Giant; read about him and we had driven by it, made a "u" turn and back we go. If you are in the area you have to see the museum.

Really good spot to stop and see some things on a road trip! This is mostly local history and the same sorts of things that you'd see in many small town museums like the "pioneer" home antiques and such but it's additional areas that make this a nice museum. They had one room dedicated to the "Jolly Giant" that was the initial draw for us. A bit of a tragic story but really pretty neat to see and read about. The first nations room with history on Sitting Bull as well as the video presentation was really awesome! They had a tipi setup with some very well furnished first nations items. I think of all the rooms this was the best put together from an interest and uniqueness stand point. Very well done!
