Willowbrae Childcare Academy Sundance - Calgary

Willowbrae sundance has been amazing place for my son to grow. My son has been with this day care over 1 year and absolutely loves it. There are lots of indoor/ outdoor activities. Besides, they have fantastic playground. Classrooms are very clean and plenty of space to play. The staffs are caring and professional. Hannah who is director has been great at communicating. I have never doubted my decision to enroll my son here. I would highly recommend this daycare!

My son started going to Willowbrae academy since they were newly opened. He loves going to his daycare . Lots of different activities for toddlers . Classes are clean and very spacious. Excellent outdoor playground. Ms Hanna is very professional and reliable and friendly with all kids. Love this academy. And on top I can watch live video stream of my son while I am at work that’s amazing . Thanks to Willowbrae Sundance staff for looking after all kids .

Willowbrae Childcare Academy Sundance is a good choice for my 2 kids. The staff is being nice and professional. Hannah, the Director, really cares about the children and works with the parents. They have great activities, delicious and healthy food. I am surprised how my little one does't cry in the morning, when I am leaving and is telling me "Bye mommy"! I would recommend this daycare to anyone that is looking for quality care!

I can't say enough amazing things about the infant care at Willowbrae in Sundance. There is no other place I would feel comfortable leaving my 18 month old daughter with. She has been attending the Infant program since she was 12 months old and she just loves it - she thrives there! Everyday, my daughter and I are greeted by at least 3 of the staff members, and they know us by name. Plus, the ladies who care for the babies are so amazing. They are very caring and patient. Each day, my daughter is being engaged and nurtured in a perfect environment for development and growth. Willowbrae has been so helpful as well. When my daughter first started attending, she was napping twice a day, so when I asked if they could accommodate that, they immediately said yes. I was relieved that they were so willing to be flexible. It's especially comforting to know that I can sign into the camera system and watch her interact with others, either in the classroom or outside in the play yard. I highly recommend Willowbrae Academy in Sundance! If you're on the fence at all, I hope this helps you realize that it's a great decision. I really can't imagine a better place for my daughter!

My son went here for about 6 months. We love Hannah and thought the facility was clean and professional. If Hannah could be the teacher for every kids classroom then we would of stayed. She is so loving and takes the time to know your kid. She always responded to me if I had a concern or question. They have so many activities and make outside time a priority! The system they have really helps anxious parents to stay up to date with how your kid is doing throughout the day. The reason we dropped a star is because this facility focusses on learning and skills with little personal connection for the child. We really wanted it to work out but our kid would scream for daycare every morning of drop off to the point of clinging his hands to the door to not go. After 6 months we decided to listen to our gut because he was clearly not adjusting to their toddler program. If your focus is to keep your kid on a structured schedule than this is the place for you. For us, we prioritize emotional connection and bonding with our child which was unfortunately not happening at Willowbrae. I was reluctant to write a review because I do think this is a good facility. I just felt like I had to write this after seeing the change in my son in only a month of attending a new daycare. My kid now runs in happily and waves us goodbye, his speech has improved and he has made really good friendships. It appears to be a night and day difference than when he was attending willowbrae. He may not be doing as many educational activities at his new daycare but it’s such a relief to not watch him cry every morning for drop off as well as for pick up. Another critical problem I should mention but will not remove a star for is that our son was constantly in a poopy diaper during pickup. It appeared like they were only doing diaper changes on schedule regardless of if the kid pooped. That being said we really do respect and love Willowbrae. It just wasn’t a fit for us. I just wanted to make sure to leave this review for the parents who have more anxious attached children. They may need more attention than the teachers are able to offer here.

I have to say, this is the best daycare facility I have ever come across. Being a worrying parent; the biggest thing is worrying about where your child is and who is taking care of your child while you are at work etc. The director Hannah and Jung have been nothing short of amazing and caring to me and my child. The daycare is always clean, all teachers and staff are very friendly and welcoming and very good with all the children. They watch the children closely and are very engaging, educating and active with them. They really care and keep you informed with everything going on. You can feel comfortable and know your child is safe and happy in this school. My child had a horrible experience at another daycare years ago and coming here has changed my child’s view and attitude on going to school each day. I feel very blessed to have found this amazing daycare and would recommend it to anyone!

The Infant care here at Willowbrae Sundance is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about it. My daughter has been attending Willowbrae for 6 months now and she loves it! She has really come out of her shell and the support from the teachers has had such a positive impact on her growth and development. Hannah and her staff are wonderful, patient, and caring. They take the time to get to know the children and make it a safe and nurturing environment for the children to learn and grow in. I feel comfortable and confident leaving my daughter in their care, and she looks forward to seeing her teacher and is always excited to go. I highly recommend Willowbrae in Sundance!

My daughter started attending Willowbrae childcare two months ago when she was 13 months old. The teachers in infant classes are absolutely awesome. They are so caring and way beyond what I expected! My daughter has now fully adjusted into her daycare life and her happy face tells us that we chose the right place! I highly recommend Willowbrae Sundance!
