★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Property manager insisted on a cash deposit, and wouldn't provide clear answers about rental terms or what was included.
Went to view the property the first day, everything appeared fine, property manager said a personal cheque would be fine for a deposit once it clears. Stating I don't carry my chequebook with me, I went home and came back the next day with a cheque.
After coming back the property manager said the owner would only accept cash for a deposit, adding to this fun, the property manager said after demanding a cash deposit, that they would need to run a credit check and needed a SIN Number, Date of Birth, Credit Card Number as a host of other personal information. that didn't seem particularily relevent to a credit check.
Long story short, if you are looking at renting here, please use common sense
