Avoid. Poor quality at any price. Worse service. Went here after the lunch rush and ordered 2 bento boxes with a friend. Took nearly 40 minutes to get them. Expected some decent sashimi considering the price and here's where it falls even more apart. If you really appreciate sushi and sashimi, you understand that it should be cut uniformly, presented properly, etc... First, I was shorted a piece of sashimi. Second, they were all radically different cuts, and tiny, like we got the leftover scraps. The roll that came with it was undersized with too much rice relative to the protein - as in very little in it. Plus not a single roll was cut to the same size as the others. If this was at a food court, I wouldn't expect any better, but from an actual sushi place? I've had better food court sushi. Sorry Wild Sushi. I hope you read this and improve.

My favourite sushi restaurant - and I've been to many. The regular server is lovely and is always very welcoming. The food itself is great and is some of the best sushi I've tasted here in Vancouver - and I've visited various other restaurants around the same price range. This place is also a local favourite. During peak hours there is sometimes a wait, but I've been here many times during such times and I have always recieved a table, and never had to wait too long for it.

Third time here and the service necessary slower and slower with each visit. The rolls are fine but if they are worth the wait time is questionable. If you would like sushi on the Dunbar area potentially try elsewhere. Although the service lacks the prices are reasonable.

We order from here regularly. We love the food. Occasionally I go there for lunch. Unlike the other reviews here I find the head waitress to be quite moody. One day she was so grumpy she thumped my miso soup onto the table spilling and walked away with no eye contact. The only possible thing I could think of was that I sat at 4 person table by myself. But it was 2pm and there were only 2 other people there. Who knows. I just hope they read this and try to be more friendly even when one of the staff is having a bad day. Otherwise I totally support this restaurant and hope it will thrive with the new developments in the area.

As far as I’m concerned it’s the best sushi in the city. They seem to always favour speediness on take out orders while patrons in the restaurant have to wait quite a while sometimes unfortunately. The food is so good though that it’s not worth docking them a star.

Service ok, taste average, good sized bento box and well presented. In a Japanese restaurant, how could you NOT have tea? Even a tea bag? Lemon / lime not available when asked with cup of tab water without ice. Beef teriyaki lunch has no veggie at all literally just beef on rice in a bowl. Spicy tuna roll seemed to be crunch flakes plus a bit tuna and not spicy.
