★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the only FULLY gluten-free sushi restaurant I have found anywhere in my travels, and has been consistently delicious and healthy whether we've eaten in or done take-out. Yes, the prices are higher, but it reflects quality and health-consciousness. My 5 & 6 year old kids and I have several food allergies including wheat gluten, tree nuts, sesame, dairy & eggs, and this is the safest sushi place we can eat without worry as they're attentive to food sensitivities. The fact that they serve only wild salmon also speaks to their concern about the environment and human health. And a brown rice option also caters to diabetic concerns. The only disappointing dish I've had was the salmon miso soup which we found bland. But all the tempura dishes, maki rolls, teriyaki tofu don, and yam fries are delicious. My daughter always asks about this place as it is the only sushi place we know that serves gluten-free tempura. I just wish they were closer to us in Burnaby!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down some of the best Japanese food I've ever had! I have serious allergies to Gluten and Dairy but the restaurant is dedicated gluten-free and almost all the other menu items are dairy/nut free as well.
The staff was super accommodating and helpful when I explained my allergies too. Can't wait to come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love that this place is 100% gluten free and actually has good food. However, the service could have been a little better. It says online it closes at 8. We showed up at 720 and we’re told they stopped the kitchen at 730 and if we wanted to eat we needed to order food immediately and would have to be out of the restaurant by 8. Having worked in the restaurant industry I find this poor service. If you’re open till 8 (which is an early close to begin with), you should have your kitchen open till 8. We would have ordered more food after we finished eating, as it was only 745, but we’re unable to. Felt rushed and made for a negative experience. All that aside they do have great food. Great for celiacs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great place for those with dietary restrictions and a 100% dedicated GF restaurant! The price point is slightly higher because of the specialty menu, but the food is great. Had the power sushi bowl (similar to a chirashi don at other places) and it was healthy but still flavourful. I did wish it had a couple more slices of sashimi though, as my one note. Others in my group had the special bento box and enjoyed the variety. Would like to return again to try their other menu items!

We have eaten “in” at Iki several times. This past week we ordered take-out for the first time here. We were very disappointed in the size of the order for the price! The small container of Don was half rice and cost $17.50. The rolls didn’t seem complete. The sashimi was $21.50 for 8 pieces.We can’t figure out why the order was so small in comparison to what we’ve had there before.
