★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the more compelling reasons I would come back and revisit Sooke. Their dishes are perfection! Everything on their menu is fresh and locally sourced (herbs and greens from their garden, too), top that with an excellent and warm team of frontline and kitchen staff who made everyone feel at home, plus this place has a breathtaking view of the water. It was a memorable experience all together, thank you Wild Mountain!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's too bad that there are only 5 stars to give for this restaurant. On a whim, we put our name in on the 'On Call' list in case any cancelled reservations became available for the 1 night we were passing through Sooke. Luckily we managed to snag a 5pm seating for 2 people. The food here was the highlight of our weekend on Vancouver Island. This restaurant is worth the trip alone. Beautiful waterfront view, kind, knowledgeable staff and the food was the best we've had. Highly recommend making a reservation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Blown away by this place! We ordered the gnocchi and a wild mushroom pizza. Practically licking the plate!
We also go the warm honey cake which was divine! Our server/bartender, Nathan, was also amazing and made some amazing cocktails for us.
Highly recommend coming to this little quaint restaurant. You will not be disappointed. We recommend making a reservation as they fill up very fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wild Mountain never disappoints. We like to dress up fancy and make it an occasion but we are just as comfortable coming in after a hike for their amazing bevvies and pizza!
We love the menu changes as the seasons change (stinging nettle soup anyone? So good!) and how the delicious favourites stay, sometimes with small twists (smokey warm olives!).
Thanks Wild Mountain, forever our favourite place to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was packed for the long weekend so I'd make sure you have a reservation! The food and service were both impeccable! I didn't have a reservation but was looking for a single seat and they were nice enough to serve me by the bar next to the wood fire oven. I had the duck egg pappardelle with the ragu and meatballs and it was delicious and so full flavored. I could taste all the prosciutto and padano and it was everything when combined in a single bite! Delicious food, can't wait to go back for a visit and when their patio opens up back in June!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let me just start with, this place is exceptional. The food was the best food I ate in a very long time. Amazing, perfectly balanced flavours. We also got a party box for New Years eve and we can't wait to try it ?. Thanks for the great evening and the delicious food! If you are in Sooke, this is definitely the place to stop by for a great culinary experience. The chocolate pudding was to die for!
