Wigger Draperies & Furniture - Edmonton

I live in a unit very close to the downtown store. The owner of the unit is not that involved and one of my slats from my verticals worked it's way through the connector. I was stumped. I went to Wigger and they said to bring it in. I returned with the piece that needed to replaced, fully prepared to buy it. They gave me a couple to try at no cost. This is a strong community member and both the receptionist and the designer were lovely. Additionally, they had masks to provide to customers who arrived with no mask and had protected all of their staff. Wigger Draperies in an outstanding member of downtown Edmonton.

Had Wigger rep visit us in our home a few years back with numerous samples and valuable advice for all window coverings. We are very happy with our choice and the quality of the blinds, and curtains. They still look new and stunning. Would recommend their services.

Excellent service from start to finish. We recently had our dining room chairs re-upholstered by Wigger Draperies. We were given excellent advice about fabric choice during a home visit by a Wigger representative, who took us beyond our comfort zone for color. We are very happy with the fabric, the color, and the way in which the chairs work with other materials a colors in the room. The actual upholstering was very professional. Everyone in the office was courteous and helpful. We highly recommend Wigger.

We were looking for blinds and after a mediocre experience with Hunter Douglas rep from Costco we decided to contact Wigger Draperies. The whole process was very smooth and pleasant-from explaining options & prices (including a really good advice) to the installation. Professional, non-pushy and on-time (actually 2 weeks ahead of time, lol). We got 2" blinds in brushed aluminum for our new home, highly recommended family business. Thumbs up.

I went to Wigger Draperies to ask for blind string… great experience, it seems they provide exceptional customer service. While waiting in the store, I started to think about upgrading a few window coverings, especially the bay window of my living room… Aga kindly provided me with many design ideas, she quickly summarized the pros and cons of each design… will definitely keep them in mind when upgrading our window drapes.

After getting 5 different quotes from different places and being told my vision was not possible, I came to wigger . They made my dream come true. Beautiful and elegant. When I walked in to my beautiful curtains hanging I almost cried. Thank you Aga for listening. We love our curtains!

We have done quite a substantial renovation to our main floor of our home and had come to the window coverings portion of the Reno. Upon our first meeting with Aga at their showroom, and her help with different varieties and examples of window coverings, to her coming to our home to look at our windows and offer more help, here at our home. She was amazing with her knowledge and suggestions for our Living Room, bedrooms, office and bathroom. We decided on a combination of Romans, Hunter Douglas Blinds, and Living Room Side Panels. We are so amazed and happy with the whole process at Wigger. Their promptness, professionalism and knowledge were over the top. From Aga, Matt, their installer, to all the staff at their offices, we are so happy we chose them. It has added the final step to our Reno, to making our home so comfy and beautiful. We are over the moon satisfied with Wigger and would always recommend them to anyone that requires their services. Aga and your staff we give you all a 10 plus. Thank you so much!!!

I would have to concur with the review from Jerry Archibald also listed here. I too was asked to pay for another installation fee even though the work was still not right. I had a very similar experience with a custom made curtain order with Wiggers. Half of the job was done properly, and looks great. The second room's panels were mishandled, and not well made. I had brought some velvet fabric into Wiggers which somehow had become soiled in their studio. When the velvet curtains were hung, they were marked in a conspicuous area. They were taken back to the shop to be restitched with the goal of hiding these marks within a fold. Before this restitching, I decided to purchase additional fabric from Wiggers to have panels made to increase the fullness of the existing curtains. These new panels were then sewn back to front, and one was also stained and had to be taken back to Wiggers to be corrected and cleaned....again! After requesting to only have this half of the job redone and being refused, I was offered a mere 20% discount on half of the total job for their mistakes, my time and hassle, which I adamantly declined. I insisted on a 50% discount on half of the job which was reluctantly given after nearly 45 min of debate. I came to Wiggers looking for a professional custom job, and not a discount. What I received was poor customer service, communication, and a semi-pro result at best. While trying to contact the owner, I was treated with respect and understanding by a woman who I would assume is a full time worker in the shop, but the owner Aga was confrontational, misinformed, and difficult to work with. I would never recommend or trust Wiggers with my business again. It was one of the most unexpectedly poor, and frustrating business experiences I have ever had.
