Wiebe's Moving & Storage - Winnipeg

Relocating to Winnipeg during the pandemic was terrifying for me, especially since I’m diabetic and vulnerable to the virus. But Wiebe’s Moving & Storage made our move completely stress-free by disinfecting all our boxes and social distancing throughout our long-distance move. We’re so grateful for all your help!

The gentleman I spoke to when booking them was amazing! I would talk to him again any day! Unfortunately that's where the good ends. One of the movers was a good guy. The other was very unprofessional. He made mocking comments about my possessions, all of my wood furniture is damaged (including my great-grandmothers antique sewing machine) and then he rushed the payment process. When he was asked to slow down and explain something he rolled his eyes at me. I cannot recommend this company and that is unfortunate. In response to your reply: There was no preexisting damage to my furniture. That's how I know it happened during the move. There are obvious scratches to the front of my dresser. They were not there on April 22. This is a fact. And no, they did not point anything out to me. I was in the living room the entire time they were loading my bedroom furniture. I repeat, absolutely no conversations happened about any preexisting damage. My vanity table had a scratch that I knew about and again, they did not confirm with me whether or not it was preexisting. As for the antique sewing machine I and everyone in my family can confirm that those chips taken out of the lid were definitely not there before my move.So to your patronizing comment about me being offended, the answer is no. Again, because that conversation never happened. And no, I'm not so weak-willed that a conversation such as that would have offended me. The mocking comments about my furniture were such things as "you must hate movers", and upon seeing that my vanity table has a mirror, and my wardrobe has a mirrored front I heard "wow. she must really like looking at herself". Those are uncalled for in any setting. One mover asked to use my washroom. I told him no because it was full of suitcases and things. His reply was "I have good aim". How is that professional? I am not denying that your staff are experienced. I'm saying that my personal experience with them was subpar at best. And I have worked with a lot of movers. I lived with one for 8 years so I know movers. Unfortunately my experience with your company wasn't the greatest. If you would like more details please contact me privately. Also, please stop posting people's address in your replies. It doesn't make you look good.

I had to move out my place rather discreetly due to a irresponsible landlord and everyone from Simon the dispatcher to the guys who moved my stuff were helpful, understanding and quick. Took a lot anxiety and concern away for me. I would recommend Weibe's Moving to everyone.

When we were moving houses in Manitoba last month, our biggest concern was storage. We didn’t know where to keep the furniture till our new residence was fully ready to accommodate us. Your company did our move from our house to an apartment and the men you sent out were efficient, professional and took great care of all of our belongings. In spite of the fact that the elevator was not locked initially for them, they quickly set things right. They have done many moves to this "senior's housing" and so knew who to call to get things done.

Two kind moving men showed up. Actually prior to this, our moving time had narrowed and Wiebe's was very accommodating. Our furniture arrived safely and in a timely manner. The concierge in our new condo said that he has never seen moving men work so efficiently. Thank you!

My husband and I work 9 hours a day and were very anxious about not having enough time to plan a successful move across Manitoba. That’s when a friend suggested Wiebe's Moving & Storage. The boys at Wiebe’s Moving didn’t only help us pack all the belongings but also load and unload them! Very impressed with how professional they were. Definitely a 10/10

This company are excellent at moving and quality service. They are pricy but there won’t be anything broken or scratched. New spring pricing will be outrageous as the owner explained to me on a call. I moved 17 times with various companies and this one is the best. I used them once before and this is why I went back to this company because I paid a decent price back then. Only problem now is we had was being charged time stuck on a major highway for 2 major car accidents due to weather whiteout. That then brought our time to overtime charges which I feel is not fair and they gouge you price wise for that so they don’t get 5 stars. The owner seemed aggressive when I called him over the phone asking to not get charged for the wait time due to the accidents. I cannot use them again because of the pricing. I must say though mover men unloading were the best I ever had!
