The owner Josh is one of the most friendly and helpful people you can meet and he makes every holiday an enjoyable one. Take a pontoon ride and loose all your worries while you take in nature at its best. The cabins are clean and comfortable and have a real cottage feel. I would recommend Widgawa Lodge & Outfitters to anyone looking to have a stress free nature filled holiday with or without the kids! 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐?

The place offers a lot of activities to do - Canoe rides, water taxi rides for lake tour, many hike trails, bon fire, the list goes on.. The cabin itself was perfect for a getaway. It’s cozy, well-equipped with kitchen appliances and utensils, large refrigerator. The place is nicely maintained, clean including the washrooms and shower rooms. I especially loved how he decorated the place, with artifacts and his handmade paintings. The highlight of the place is the owner Joshua. He is really friendly, enthusiastic and responsive. Joshua customized lake tour for us according to our needs, and we had a great time!

The lodge was clean, quiet and easily accessible from the highway. The owner, Joshua, was professional, friendly and accommodating - his great stories about the area and it’s history were the cherry on top. I look forward to returning and I would recommend the Lodge unconditionally!

The area is beautiful and in my opinion the best Ontario has to offer. Widgawa has top notch services and amenities to make for a great trip. The owner Josh is always fantastic to deal with and truly goes above and beyond to help you have a great time. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and history of this region which is always great to learn about. If you are going to Killarney Park this is a perfect place to stay to start/finish you're adventure. It is also a great base to hike and spend time on the water. With a full outfitting service you can paddle right from Widgawa and access so many incredible views! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Our group was all very pleased with the services before heading out on our journey to Grace, Nellie and Murray lake, and even on our trip we would still talk about the great conversations we had with Joshua!! Well worth staying here or launching from here, very nice scenery and a ton of resources available if you need something before heading out. 5/5 without a doubt! ?

Truly enjoyed the Canoe trip and we caught 4 bass in Charlton lake. Joshua has been very responsive and considerate to let us have an hour early check in. The cabin is great and fair price. The staff is very helpful . John came and showed us the shower place in the rainy late night when we lost our way. We will be back whenever there is a chance .

The amount of help and guidance we received was above and beyond!!! Joshua is very courteous, accomodating and welcoming, His wealth of knowledge of the area shared was necessary for our safe return from K.P.P. We had a few changes in our original plan. We were able to enjoy a scenic send off to save time to get to Grace and because of Joshua's constant correspondence with us, were able to alter our plan to get to next destination. Hats off to a hardworking soul who clearly loves the area and to the help from French visitors, Manon and Nathan. Planning to return in fall for a longer stay. Hardly want to share this info b/c Widgawa is such a wilderness gem!
