★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I go shopping at the Hamilton, Ontario Wholesale Club located at Barton & Nash Streets in the east end of the city every week with Chef Darryl. Some times he sends me to get stuff for him when he's stuck cooking in his Diner. Stage Diner up on Concession Street - the Newfie place. :) ♡hugs♡ JACK

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My shopping experience at the Wholesale Club was very pleasant. The store is quite well stocked it's clean the prices are very good. The staff is quite amazing with Claudia being a prime example. She was very helpful friendly and efficient. She very quickly helps me to realize that I had picked up product that I didn't mean to get and helped me to get the right one. Hopefully she is commended for her excellent work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great fill in when you can't get to Costco. Variety varies. Some product's have more choices, some less. I will be going back. For others, if you haven't been, it's worth a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place for picking up bulk food stuffs, basic restaurant supplies and equipment. Not much selection but plenty enough to fill a freezer or two before winter sets in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I get alot from here are often. Today I bought 1.2 K bag of Salt n Pepper chicken wings.
I was excited.
Long story short in the pic, the wings are all broken, meat is wrapped off and tons of broken small jagged bone shards in the package.
Would never grab this again !!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wholesale Club is a wannabee Costco but not even close. Check the pricing carefully as large packed items are often not a deal (check unit pricing, pricing by weight, etc.). One example they advertised Halls on sale and then refuse to honor the flyer price saying it was a mistake and they posted revised prices where the item was located. When I spoke to the manager and advised that this was not permitted, they said head office will back us all the way. I simply don't shop at the Wholesale Club any more. Their prices are often higher than stores like Food Basics and Freshco even in larger quantities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Almost all employees were rude except the cashier. Instead of helping me with the inconvenience, the manager came over to cash, and started rolling her eyes towards me and my kids. Her name was Michelle and she was very aggressive with her tone and had a negative attitude overall. Be wary of where you shop cause these associates may mistreat you based on how you look.
