★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used this firm 4 times to file income tax returns. The 1st 3 times everything was great. This year they screwed up big time! They took it upon themselves to apply for a credit that I did not authorise or have any part in. They admitted to their mistake but no apology for doing so. NOT happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I became responsible for filing my father’s taxes in 2015. He had an existing relationship with White Rock Tax (WRT), so I continued to use their services. I had no trouble with them until they prepared his 2017 filing and they miscalculated his expenses. The result was that dad was given a bigger refund than he should have received. In 2018, CRA sent me a request for documentation and I realized that WRT had made a mistake. I went to WRT and they admitted their mistake, but did not apologize. They told me what they thought should be dad’s amount owing to CRA so I could pay it. This was the only assistance they offered. Since then, I have spent days going back and forth with CRA to deal with the fall-out over this error. I am usually forgiving when it comes to mistakes, but this experience has cost me more sleep and time than any other mistake I can recall, and I am still paying for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an excellent experience with this company. I noticed some new staff in the office and they were helpful, courteous and patient and the owners were great to work with. I saw other reviews that differ, but everyone was friendly and I highly recommend White Rock Tax and will continue my business with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my taxes in for WRT to do weeks in advance. I didn't hear back from them by the deadline date and called them. They told me they had just started on them and was told that I will have to pay the 5% late fee to Revenue Canada. I am meticulous with my finances and was very upset with not only their incompetence but also their lack of concern for me. Warning, do not use WRT!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic service. The front receptionist was very patient with me. I was a few years behind in my taxes and that was never an issue with them. They made me feel like I was their top priority the entire time!
I will definitely come back next tax season.

The reception has always been friendly. They really go the extra mile to make sure clients are satisfied. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad Service. It took them 5 days to prepare my simple taxes for 2019. This year I bought a software and started reading to realize that I should have claimed plenty of medical and moving expenses which I did not. They never posed the question, and that cost me literally thousands of dollars.
