★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son and I fished with Whistler Year-Round Fishing while vacationing in Whistler this Summer. It was our first time fly fishing and it was a blast. Dawson was a fantastic guide. He knew where the "honey hole" was and had us fly fishing like pros in no time! I've never seen so many fish in one area. My son caught the most beautiful Pink Salmon I've ever seen. We will definitely be back and highly recommend these guys. You won't be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot speak highly enough of Whistler Year-Round Fishing. Our family of four had no prior experience with fly fishing and were intimidated by the gear and techniques that go with the sport. Whistler Year-Round Fishing made the entire process, from pick up to the actual fishing, effortless. Our guide was exceptionally accommodating, knowledgeable and was fantastic with my two boys 10 and 13. In our 5-hour session, we caught over 10 gorgeous rainbow trout, large and small. Standing in green glacier water surrounded by lush sun-drenched mountains was the highlight of our trip! After our first fly fishing experience, we're now hooked (no pun intended)!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just came back from Whistler where my daughter and I went on a guided fishing trip with Dawson. I cannot say enough good things about this company. He was very knowledgeable and made sure that we were catching fish. It was so good that I decided to book another trip a few days later and took my son out. Matt was our guide this time. He was was great and took us to the Chekamus river and to Green lake. We are new to fly fishing and he taught various techniques. I can tell you that these guys go the extra mile for their clients. Matt wasn’t worried about the time but rather wanted to make sure that we had a great trip. It was amazing and I will be back again to fish with them. Thanks again for such a great experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great day on the ice with our guide Matt! He had all the gear and supplies needs for the morning ice fishing trip. Made it really simple for the group. He taught us the tips and tricks needed to catch rainbow trout through the ice. Very knowledgeable and patient with us. For the few hours we were on the lake we all landed fish. Matt knew the lake very well and kept us on the fish. Overall, great experience and would recommend Matt to anyone interested in a guide service.

I was happy to tag along with an experienced guide to get 10+ years of experience in a few hours. Not only did I get great crash course in fly fishing, but I also caught a trophy bull trout !!???
Don't come to whistler without going on a guided experience with Matt and company! It's well worth every penny.
P.S.: The scenery will blow your mind!!⛰️?️?️??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I had booked a fly fishing trip with Matthew from Whistler Year-Round Fishing and it was everything and more than we could have asked for. We had booked about a month in advance and rather than just forgetting about us until we showed up, he kept in touch with us as our trip date was nearing and he was informing us on the best fishing spots for the time we would be there.
Matthew was an amazing guide and teacher. None of my family had ever been fly fishing and we were consistently fighting pink salmon in the pristine Squamish river with beautiful scenery and wildlife.
I would highly recommend Whistler Year-Round Fishing and would definitely book another trip with them.

Matt was very knowledgeable about what would get the fishing moving despite the challenging conditions. He went above an beyond to get me on an awesome bull trout. would recomend to anyone who wanted to get into fly fishing or learn more about fishing in the Whistler area.
