Both Dr Ken Swanston and Debra McIntyre are AWESOME people who take great care of people!?

Appointments were rushed, quick fix "come back next week", waited in the waiting room for over 30 minutes without being told there was a delay until 20 minutes in, couldn't figure out my insurance, and I now have back pain when I've never had it in my life. Charged me via credit card and insurance for appointment, paid for it twice and am now chasing them for reimbursement. Very poor practice.

I was in a car accident and in a lot of pain. My back and neck were out of alignment and needing chiropractic care but I was so scared of having my neck adjusted! I honestly thought that I would be that 1 in a million person that would be broken from a head twist. After discussing all of this with Dr. Ken (car accident to my neck adjustment fear), his extraordinarily calming demeanour, knowledge, and clear explanations filled me with a sense of trust. So I let him fix my back... and neck! Getting fixed didn't happen overnight, my back and neck needed a fair bit of work (and massage therapy from the best in the biz, thanks Deb!!) Have no fear, Dr. Ken and Deb can fix you too but it's who they are as people, genuinely caring and nice people, that will give you that sense of trust as well.

I was having lower back issues last summer just before my family were going to do a driving tour and went to our GP to see if he could help. He gave me muscle relaxants and we went, but I was in pain and discomfort the whole trip. When we came back, I decided to check into other ways to get my self better, I had tried physio therapy before and found it didn't help so I decided to look into chiropractic treatment. I found Dr.Swanston and his team at Westside on Google and booked an appointment. I went and felt better after the very first visit. I went again in a week, then in two weeks and so on and felt better with every visit. I now go once a month just to be proactive. Dr Ken is great and is always learning new techniques to better enhance treatments. I am big guy and Dr.Ken is able to perform corrections on me with no problem.They have flexible hours so it is easy to make an appointment after work, oh and they take insurance too. Are you in pain? Go see Dr. Swanston, and get your life back, I did and am glad I did! :)

I've been seeing Dr. Ken for almost 3 years now and he has made life a lot more enjoyable. I had a lower back injury in 2014 and decided to see if chiropractics would help. I had weekly appointments for about 2 months and I attribute my healing to him. I now go every 6-8 weeks and have never felt better. He is a fantastic chiropractor and his methods work. He is also super personable and actually cares about his patients. I would definitely recommend making an appointment if you have ever had back pain.

Excellent chiropractic care here. Real care, not "we need to see you weekly for the next 10 weeks" but "if it isn't better come back in a week or so", no pressure, results expected.

Me and my fiancé visited Dr.Kenneth as a recommendation from his father, a practicing chiropractor my family and I had seen since I was an infant. As his dad, a phenomenal chiropractor and person is now retired, I decided to go out on a limb and visit westside family chiropractic. Our first consultation was thorough, informative and very personable. For $99 without coverage (a steal of a deal and every visit after is HALF the price) we received good conversation, an assessment, our first adjustment, post op stretch and maintenance info, and a trick show from the sweet and well behaved dog in the office. He explained what was off, what that could be effecting, and how he was going to fix it. My fiancé (a skeptic who had never seen a chiropractor) was diagnosed with Achilles Tendonosis, something that has really been painful for him and effecting walking/movement in his every day life. He was given more explanation on what is happening with his Achilles and what to do to help it get better (also what not to do) than any other medical doctor we have seen (a lot). He finally understands what is going on and what he can do to get better after 6 months of pain and doctors telling him “let it rest”, “just get orthotics and take Advil for the pain”, “it’s Achilles tendonosis, here is some naproxen”. My fiancé is now a firm believer in the philosophy, science, and results of chiropractic care. Dr. Kenneth is passionate just like his father, with a different approach, amazing service, communication, explanation, and the desire to improve people’s lives and overall health. I would recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone.

I've been to chiropractors all my life because I understand the importance of a healthy spine. Even after the first treatment I noticed a huge improvement. I know it takes time to realign the spine. Second treatment also felt amazing. Sometimes I get short of breath and my lower back was pretty sore but now I'm starting to feel so much better with only two treatments. I have been going to another chiropractor for about 2 years and there was improvement but a different technique and takes longer for results. Dr. Ken's technique is more of the original with his own techniques added but tried and true. I found for myself with Dr. Ken that the results where much quicker. Everyone has a different experience with different techniques so it's a matter of finding what works best for you but never give up on Chiropractic care. It's vital to your overall health. I highly recommend Dr. Ken and he and the staff are so sweet and kind. I'll be a regular.
