About Westshore Community Foundation Inc
Teri grew up in Gimli and moved back three years ago when she retired from CancerCare Manitoba. She has been very involved in the communities she lived in while she raised a family of five children,and was the recipient of a YWCA Woman of Distinction Award in 2007. She now works part-time at Gimli Physiotherapy. She is currently on the Gimli Environmental Advisory Committee and the Gimli Pride Committee in addition to the Westshore Community Foundation.
Teri’s professional background is in rural development and community engagement and she spent her career working primarily with municipalities and non-profits. She is enjoying being semi-retired, which allows her time to give back to the community, swim regularly and walk her puppy, Thor, on the boardwalk.
