★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been doing business with Westrum Lumber for many years. Mostly due to the proximity to my Carpet One store on McKenzie Lane. We provide water proof decking materials and often we need lumber to re-build decks. We also buy most of our sub floor plywood there too.
Everyone on the order desk to the outside yard are well trained and do a great job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rude and poor customer service. I felt so uncomfortable ...like I'm a woman who doesn't deserve their attention or details or assistance with Renos. Didn't seem to care at all about my business and were very condescending when talking to me. They honored the price of was quoted on the phone (which they should!!!) And that is the only reason I didn't walk out. Disappointed and surprised by this long standing business in the community. I could have went to Rona but thought I was doing good by sticking with this company. Bad feeling walking away. Btw I bought lumber and insulation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very expensive. Not great selection but have special items that I looked for. Pricing was comparable with Rona but third supplier came back with a 13.5% better cost estimate ( apples to apples ). I would likely go to the third supplier as they had all the items available and helpfull.
