Needed to get some upgrades on the home alarm system I had from ADT, contacted John at West Ridge security, he was prompt, professional and clearly knew what he was doing. I would have no problem referring or using John again Darren

If I could give this company zero stars I would. John is a crook. I text him in 2017 stating I was moving out of the city and he needed to get his system which wasn't even connected out of my house. I had given his ex fiance (she was the bookkeeper at the time) Cash payment up front. Fast forward to March of 2019 when I see him on tinder and had a few words and that was it. A month later in April 2019 I have newer members of his admin staff trying to bring a bill forward for 20 months of unpaid service and equipment cost. In almost 2 years they did not contact me.... They told me I had signed a contract but I know for a fact I did not sign a contract. He is now trying to take advantage of me and take me to civil court for $2000. His business must not be doing the greatest that he has to come after a single mom and make up lies. Its people like him that make me never want to work with local business again.

Great people, terrific service, top of the line equipment and reasonable pricing. Westridge is amazing. Right from the first call for a quote (Kyla) down to the install (Shine), the whole experience was smooth and informative. They answered every question I had, and I feel safe knowing I’m covered should anything happen. Awesome job you guys! Thanks Kyla and Shine for everything!

Got offered a great deal, and was going to get alarm + camera system installed fairly quickly. I was never given a hard installation date, eventhough they already had ~$1000 of my money (approximately 1/3rd of the price!) as a down payment. I kept not hearing back from them, for an installation date, so I could book time off work in advance. Only after calling them and specifically asking for a date, I was told it was not the office's responsiblity. Called the owner, as told by the office, and he said he didn't know. Great! Now that you already have my money you're taking your sweet time, and customer service dropped to 0! Furthermore, I was told a door bell camera would be installed by the president of the company, so I can at least have some kind of security to start me off, until the full system was to be installed. That then changed from "I'll install it for you." to: "I don't have time to install it; it only takes about 10 - 20 minutes to install." Installed it, took me ~1.5 hours to install and my door bell chime no longer worked. The system had to be configure. I requested a technician to come by and configure it, as it would take them 5 minutes to install it, as opposed to explain it to me for 2 hours over the phone. The owner went against my request and did not send somebody over, and instead got one of his technician, who was on vacation at that time in the Okanagan to call me, and do it over the phone. Which I repeatedly told him I did not want: I wanted someone to physically be there in person. It went very quickly to : "You are being a difficult customer" and "At this point I refuse any type of service and am stopping all work." I will not recommend this company under any circumstances. Am only giving one star because I can not give zero.

Been a customer for the last 5 years. Initially service was amazing John was fantastic. I recommend they to so many people Flash forward to 8 weeks ago when I started contacting them over my alarm going off nightly for no reason. I called left messages sent emails nothing took a week to get through to someone. I got the oh don't worry it's a tech issue we will call back and make an appointment. Another week passes another email sent nothing. Call again this time really mad as my kids have been woken every night from the alarm (,even when it's not turned on) and boom tech out same day. Says it's an easy change but I need to update my alarm said he has to contact John first. He goes to leave I asked him to make it so the alarm can't beep anymore as I can't handle it waking my kids. He does so and said he will have an answer same day This was 2 weeks ago And I've call and keep getting told oh I'll talk to John John has ignored all my emails So I'm done Warning for anyone else cheap to use but hopefully you don't need them as they won't be around

John and his team did a great job with our security system, we opted for the upgraded touchscreen LCD for only $200. Our bill was exactly as quoted. Fast forward 8 months and everything is still working as it should with no false alarms. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

John has been great to deal with. Had some obstacles to overcome with our alarm installation that cost him more time than he initially anticipated I'm sure. I felt he was honest and committed to the task!
