C	Countryland Manitoba Canada on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Calgary Gem I stayed at this beautiful home and totally enjoyed. John told me he built this home with his own hands before his back injury. Unbelievable workmanship. I truly enjoyed looking at the paintings that he has done. He should be selling them they are that good. I will be staying here next time I’m in Calgary. I would recommend this place for anyone wishing to have an experience. There are rooms for every budget. John is interesting to talk to about his life’s experiences. Very obliging hosts.
M	MM on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At about 4:30 PM, we booked a hotel room through Booking.com on August 20th for a one-night stay. Booking.com (Juan) told us that we could have a pet. At 5:00 PM, we called the hotel and were told that they do not allow pets. We advise them that we were told by Booking.com that we could have a pet. They advised us that they have never allowed pets. We then called Booking.com to cancel our reservation and asked for a refund. The hotel desk clerk told us we could not have a refund as we had to get it from Booking.com. Booking.com refused to speak to us and refuse to refund our 180.00 booking fee. The hotel (John / Manager) will not give us a refund although we did not stay at the hotel. Please do not stay at this hotel as this is a SCAM by this hotel and Booking.com.

The rooms were clean and beautiful, breakfast was fresh, snacks, drinks, ice and water bottles were always available. We were made to feel welcome and at home, the hosts let us know that if we need anything we could let them know at any time. Great and central location !

Great value for the stay. 10/10 would stay again and recommend to family visiting Calgary. Hosts were friendly, proactive, and accommodating, and the location was great. We were close to cafes, restaurants, banks and the city centre.

R	Regis Wiley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FALSELY ADVERTISED. Not a hotel but advertised as one. No amenities in the rooms other than a fridge. Everything was dusty and the bedding had stains on it. The common area coffee maker had moldy grounds in it the first morning we were there, needless to say we didn't have any. They also refused to serve food even though we had our documentation to participate in the COVID exemptions program. Definitely not something you would expect for the price, they should be on AirBNB not Expedia claiming to be a 4 star hotel.... They trick you into booking then tell a sob story about how this their only way to support themselves due to an injury. Maybe sell your $2.2 Million home and downsize?

C	Chris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is truly a hidden gem of Calgary. Overlooking the bow river, this gorgeous B&B is a masterpiece of craftsmanship. The room we had was the one with the air jet tub and it was enormous. The supersized king bed was so comfortable! Kim and John were fantastic hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was an omelette with toast and fresh fruit as well as biscotti for our coffee. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay in Calgary to check them out!
