I had a new Ge Profile fridge. It stopped working 3 years after buying it. I was directed to go to the repair shop that would cover the warranty. Wow I was wrong. No parts covered and cost me a fortune. Felt totally ripped of.
So 2 year later it stops working again. This time I decided to call Island veiw appliances. Very good decision.
Stuart arrived and had a peak at my big expensive piece of shiney metal. Cause at this point that is all it was.
Stuart advised me he could fix it but would be costly. He then told me it was time to let this one go as it would probably happen again. He took the time to go over some good new fridge options with me.
Stuart never charged me for his time either. I feel he could have fixed it made money then be back to make more when it broke again. Which he didnt. He cared and that was amazing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Island View Appliance was a hassle to deal with and difficult to correspond with. We were left waiting for over a month on a response to a additional follow up repair from the initial visit. As a result, our stovetop was left in disrepair with a return date to fix unknown. From start to finish our repair was a several month ordeal. Stuart gave us a quote that ended up being approximately double the price leaving out the service charge in the initial quote. Not impressed with the service or repair and will not use Island View Appliance again. No accountability on a professional level.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used Island View Appliance for years snd have never had an issue. For my fridge repair Stu had me give him the model number, which he looked up and had me contact the manufacturer as it was easier and cheaper to have shipped to my house. He is always prompt and professional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not pleased at all with our experience with Island View Appliance. The process took several months from start to finish, and Stuart was impossible to get in touch with for a weeks at a time, leaving us to wonder if we should contact another company or not. There were also discrepancies and things left out on the initial quote he gave us. His secretary was more willing to try to communicate and make things right, which I appreciated. I would not recommend Stuart and his services as it was a major headache.
