★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was recently sent (less than 2 weeks ago) a small gift of $45 USD from a friend in the states and the agent at the MONEY MART shorted me out of most of the exchange rate money. He paid me $48.70 and kept almost $10 of my money!
When I brought the discrepancy to his attention, he proceeded to tell me that he just paid me what the screen said to pay and that the issue must be on the sending end and that I would have to verify the exchange rate on the senders receipt to correct it because exchange rates change daily. They don't change by roughly 70% in 1 day. He put it back on me to contact my friend and ask him to go looking around for a receipt regarding a GIFT of money that he wired to me through Western Union that the agent at MONEY MART represents. This man does these transactions many times daily and knows that $45 US does not convert to LESS THAN $49. It's not a lot of money but it was a blatantly deceitful act. UNACCEPTABLE!! I have another to pick up today for $50 USD. I checked the senders recept already and it converts to just over $63 Canadian. I can promise you that I will not use the MONEY MART to get it! NEVER AGAIN! BEWARE!!...BAD BUSINESS!! I
