β β β β β When I had my wallet stolen I had to cancel a pawn ticket that was inside. When I went to retrieve my property (2 days later)they TRIED to keep it, saying I didn't have a ticket, and couldn't "find " my property, even though they admitted remembering that I had just been in.
These people are SCUM, and thieves.
I wouldn't trust them to give the correct time of day!
SCUM!!!???
Anyone who tells you otherwise is LYING.

β β β β β Stood there and watched them tell a customer his diamonds weren't real, charged him 5 bucks to test them, paid him 20 and a hour later the same "fake" diamonds were on display for $2100. I took my watch elswhere after i was told it was trash that they wouldn't sell; and got upset when i pointed the same watch out in their display. Keep your hierlooms and buy a lotto ticket. At least you won't be insulted when you buy it and you have a better chance of not loosing out on the deal. Stay away from these cry baby scammers and rip off artists, unless you want a good laugh at the transparent games they play.

β β β β β These guys are brutal assh*les. Be very mindful and careful of the dates you have to pay. Most pawn brokers that I have had to deal with are fair and offer flexibility beyond their contract dates including that "grace period". But these guys will stick it to you if you are not careful - they charge very high interest (loan sharks) and then if you are a day or two late will charge you late fees, threaten to keep your stuff and then charge you some more once they know they have you in a vulnerable place. Someone needs to look into this shady, shifty, sleazy industry and better regulate interest and related fees. Same for those nasty payday loan jerks.

β β β β β I bought a guitar in there today. $20 of my money got lost on the way to the cash register, by the clerk. Now him and another employee started arguing about the disappearing $20, I'd be willing to bet that it fell in to his pocket.. lol. I left with the guitar, my change and a recipe but you can bet yur you know what that I'll never shop there again and I'll be telling all of my friends too!
Very disappointed and disgusted at the same time.

β β β β β For everyone who one-starred this place, you either weren't vigilant enough to read the fine print or look at the start/end of contract dates, you brought in trash expecting treasure prices, it might be your first time too and believe me, no pawn shop treats you like gold on your first pawn/sell, you need to build your reputation first, no shop will give out a large loan to you the first time your in the shop. THEY DONT KNOW WHO ANY OF US ARE AT FIRST, but once you build TRUST and a business relationship, they treat you like gold!! I've been going to western pawn since I moved into the area last september (2017). To be honest they are the first pawn shop I have ever used, and they have treated me the way I expect a good pawn shop to treat me. I've been pawning my tv and/or ps3 since last September with not a single issue on their end, they even extended the 10 day grace period by 3 days for me so that I didn't lose my stuff!! I bought my ps3 from them, no issues since I bought it, I see too many people complaining about things they couldve avoided with a phone call or by reading their contract. You get further with honey than lemons!!

β β β β β These guys are the best, I've been dealing with them form many years and never had any problems. If you need some extra time, call them and talk to them, you may have to pay a bit extra but they try and help you. They always helped me. One guy wrote in here about being 3 days late, I don't know what he is talking about, there is a 7 business days grace period after your loan date when you still can get your things, you just pay extra, of coarse it is written right there on the front of your ticket. If you are signing something, read what you are signing, it's not like there are 10 pages of super small print, just a few things you should be aware of, that's it! Best Pawn shop in Vancouver.

β β β β β These guysβ¦. you know the guy who owns the place and his best boys are awesome.
Even up to only 6 or 8 years ago I was always able to count on these guys to lend me a 100buks against my guitar when I needed it. And so many times I needed it.
I have never been a regular job person. Even when I was late making my payment - the good man always let me buy back my guitarβ¦. Iβve had that guitar since 12 years old.
Haha yeah they always made their money - and the the lend rates werenβt cheap haha.
Anyways, things are very different now / money is not a problem anymore. But I still think back to the times when money was *super* scarce and I think about how I made it by and yeah⦠these guys in their own bent way (haha) really helped me make it by.
So thanks guys:) Iβll be sure to drop by and say hi when Iβm back in town again.
(Iβm the guy that told you about bitcoin in 2013 / the guy with the light blue fender strat guitar)

β β β β β I had a very bad experience, I was going to buy a guitar from them, they send me pictures of the actual product, I did ask about in what shape the guitar was, they assure me the guitar was in excellent shape. I had to drive over 1hr to pick it up and when I get there the guitar had a lot of scratches and one big paint chip. I do not recommend this place at all.
