Westcoast SCI has been fantastic. Aren S. has helped me not only manage and reduce my tendonitis but has gotten me on track to running my first race. It's been a wonder being able to exercise pain free.

My experience at Westcoast SCI has been nothing but positive. Natasha is such a knowledgeable, professional and compassionate therapist and just an all-round lovely person to interact with. She's always up to-date on the latest research, and she has done an excellent job of tailoring intervention to suit my needs and life circumstances as well as helping me to feel empowered with a better understanding of my condition and helpful strategies for managing pain. The front desk staff are also friendly and courteous and always make you feel safe with their adherence to covid-19 protocols. 10/10 would recommend!

I visited Westcoast SCI to help recover from a separated shoulder and Aren worked with me over several weeks to create a customized plan with appropriate exercises to build back my flexibility and strength. The progression over several sessions has been excellent. I would definitely recommend Aren and Westcoast SCI for anyone looking for a high quality physiotherapy program.

I had one of the most outrageous and unpleasant experiences of my life at Westcoast SCI- Port Coquitlam. I called Westcoast SCI on April 16th and was scheduled for an appointment with Jayde Woo on April 27th. On April 25th, I received a reconfirmation message from Westcoast SCI. However, the receptionist called yesterday (April 26th) and told me to come now rather than on April 27th because the therapist couldn't make time on that day. The problem is that instead of Woo, I was treated by a different therapist named Aren. I complained that the receptionist didn't explain anything to me and that the therapist was changed at his discretion without my permission. He said it was unavoidable due to a scheduling conflict with another patient, and that I'd have to wait until mid-May to see Woo. I'd already waited two weeks and couldn't wait another three weeks, so I received Aren's treatment at the receptionist's request. I'm not going to say anything about Aren because I believe he has nothing to do with this situation. That doesn't mean I was happy with how he treated me. What I don't understand is why there were double bookings at places with fully computerized booking systems, such as Westcoast SCI. Second, they didn't find a double booking when they texted me to reaffirm my appointment. Third, when the receptionist called, he did not inform me that I had already been scheduled with another therapist. Despite my family doctor's recommendation, I spent a significant amount of time and effort carefully researching and selecting the therapist with whom I wanted to be treated, but this effort was rendered ineffective in an instant. It was a terrible experience, and I believe there was deception or fraud involved.

I found exactly what I was looking for with Jayde! I've only had 1 appt so far, but booking was easy and she's super accessible and easy to communicate with by email. During my first appt she asked great questions. She listened to my rambling answers, made sense of them and articulated them back concisely. I felt heard and very supported. Together we came up with a plan for rehab back into life that I'm really excited about. Reception, booking, payment, etc. is all SUPER easy, parking is right out front; and it's all brand new, clean and pretty inside. LOVE.

I’ve been struggling with on and off back/ shoulder pain for years. After a really bad spot I finally went to physio after ER doc suggested it and Dominic cut my pain levels in half on the first visit! Was a great experience. Location was very clean and inviting.

They get back to you quickly when you initiate contact. I was able to obtain an appointment within a week and am now set up with kinesiologists to monitor my recovery through a physiotherapist designed exercise program. Domininc was very thorough in understanding my condition. I didn't feel rushed in any way and he helped me solve one aspect of the pain I experience on the spot. I start my exercising soon! So happy to find this clinic.
