Westbrook is hands down the best Montessori in the region and I am so pleased with the high quality of education my daughter received during her time there. The staff are caring and supportive. They dedicate themselves to giving individual attention and promoting positive values in each child. The curriculum is very comprehensive and a perfect mix of challenging, explorative and fun. Riz, the Director runs the school very efficiently and goes out of his way to ensure the care and safety of each child. This was most evident over the past year where he established strict Covid protocols and even purchased a sanitizing machine for added measure. It gave me peace of mind everyday knowing my daughter was safe going to school. Westbrook has played a vital role in my daughter's personal and intellectual development and I feel very grateful to them for providing her with the solid foundation she needs to take her into the future...Thank You Westbrook!

Having our child attend Westbrook Montessori Academy Inc. was one of the best decisions we have ever made. The dedicated teachers expressed care, love, kindness and are always helpful. The curriculum keeps the children engaged, excited, and driven to want to learn more. Our little one will surely miss all the active learning sessions like exploring Morocco, singing the song about all Canadian provinces, teaching us about different kinds of Camels, correcting our vocabulary lol. Bursting with excitement to go to school because she's doing a new project or division or reading or practical life. She develops socially making great friendships with peers and teachers. The fun activities like the school trips, magic shows, dancing, karate, French, end-of-year concerts, spirit week all aid in her development. I see her development to be more than a curriculum, rather, she gained life skills that placed her on a path for great success in the future.

Our son recently graduated from Westbrook Montessori Casa program and we are very happy with the progress he made over the two years. At Westbrook, our son loved the Montessori activities; they made his learning effortless, engaging and fun. Also, there were plenty of opportunities such as concerts, magic shows, spirit days, monthly themes for him to develop his social skills and explore the world around him. The teachers at Westbrook are very professional, caring and dedicated to bring the best out of the kids. Teachers work with the kids individually, so they get to learn at their own pace. Mr. Riz, the principal is very much involved in day-to-day activities in the school and makes sure effective communications happen between the school and the parents. Our son has very fond memories from his kindergarten years at Westbrook and as parents, we are so happy to have made the decision to enroll him in Westbrook Montessori Academy. I have no hesitation in recommending this school to any parent who is looking for a good kindergarten program.

I sent both my kids to Westbrook. This week is my daughter's last week. My son graduated 3 years ago. Sending them to Westbrook is the best decision I have made.Both my kids are happy in Westbrook. They love their teachers and classmates. Teachers pays their attention to every kid's progress. Based on my son's experience, kids from Westbrook are well prepared for Grade one. The schools events such as culture day and Christmas concert are my family's favorite.

My son's experience at Westbrook Montessori Academy was beyond exceptional. Despite the pandemic, Westbrook was able to quickly pivot and continue the level of excellence the institution is known for. We highly recommend this Montessori for the high level of detail and care at all levels with all staff. We are so pleased with our son's education at Westbrook, we registered our younger son as soon as he was of age to receive the level of excellence, his recently graduated brother obtained. Have had both my children study from when they were toddlers to when the elder graduated to move on to grade 1. Younger is there presently. It's a highly clean, organized, efficiently run setup and their involved attitude in each child has helped me as a parent to be at ease and to be able to openly express my concerns and have them addressed in real time.

We had both our kids at Westbrook and it was the best investment we made in our children's future. The teachers were beyond amazing. They were passionate about seeing their students succeed. The teachers were truly invested in my children’s education and their growth as learners. Adjustments were made as needed to meet the needs of the student. Small class sizes and leveled learning enabled my children to gain confidence in their learning abilities. The teachers are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within your child – their good behaviors and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner. The curriculum is second to none and each child is treated with care. If you have any questions, please go and see Riz, and he will put you at ease.

We have been part of the WMA family for years: both of our children attended Westbrook Montessori Academy (WMA) starting in the Toddler Program through to the Graduate Level in Casa 2. Their time at WMA was the foundation for developing independence, focus, problem solving skills and a joy of learning. They were prepared both academically as well as socially for their entrance into elementary school. True to Maria Montessori’s principles, the staff understands that each child is unique in how they learn and adapt to each child in a supportive and nurturing environment while imparting the core concepts of the Montessori philosophy. The teachers are dedicated, passionate and caring and the children feel safe, supported and loved, which is what any parent would want for their child. The school is intimate; not only do the children receive individualized attention, but there is a real sense of community that is developed, and the annual Holiday Parties and Culture Days felt like reunions with teachers and parents coming together to connect and catch up. The school offers nutritional catered lunches – I always looked forward to hearing the lunch menu for the day – and in a normal year, there are a range of interesting and engaging extracurricular activities to further supplement the excellent learning they were already doing. The Covid Pandemic was a real test for the school and through the various measures and protocols that were taken, Riz and the staff were able to ensure that the school remained open for most of the year, and that the children were able to continue their learning and socialization with their peers. We felt confident that the school was safe, and it was in large part due to the tremendous efforts of the WMA team that this was possible. We will miss the drive to the school every day, we will miss seeing Riz and the teachers, and we will truly miss the WMA Family.
