There is a sign in the lobby asking tenants to leave a google review. At the bottom, it says if there is anything we have issues with, to please contact them. Well, I have sent 4 e-mails with issues and questions over the past month and they have either been ignored or answered in a round-about way that does not address my actual questions. I actually love the building - the location is amazing and the units are nice. It's a little pricey, but standard for the area. HOWEVER, please be aware that several of the "amenities" listed on the website are not actually here at all...there is no bicycle room or pet wash facility, and the private courtyard exists, but tenants do not have access to it. There are also NO BBQs on the rooftop terrace. These are some of the issues / questions I have repeatedly asked management about, without getting a straight answer.

So far things aren’t great, the building is nice but they seem more concerned about filling the units than maintaining the building. I requested my name three times to be added to the entrance system over the course of a month and nothing has happened. Same thing with the Lux package system they advertised. Other issues are dirty windows, lack of access to public spaces like the study room. They were rushed in making the units and it shows, our unit has only the primer painted on the bathroom door. So now I have to paint it. The walls and floors in the hallways are dirty and can easily be cleaned. Overall it feels like no one maintains this building and I’m hopeful that it gets better.

The unit is nice but otherwise the only good thing about this building are the maintenance people who are all very helpful. The problems have been more numerous. - New tenants were not allowed to see units before moving in due to covid. When specifically asked about noise, they failed to mention that construction was about to start on the site across the street where a 26 story building is going in (they start work at 7 am every week day). - Farm Boy delivery trucks are loud and make early morning weekend deliveries. - Tenants (many of whom are surely working from home) were not notified when blasting was going to begin at the construction site across the street. - The specific apartment was sold as having a great view, which I suppose it does if you don’t mind over looking a construction site. - The garage is poorly secured, I had a bike stolen and another stripped of parts. - Black out blinds were poorly installed and let in a lot of light. - The gym hours are terrible. - The BBQ on the roof top has never worked.

RE: westboro connection scott street The building managers are unhelpful. They took away all the parking spots and won't give any of the tenants downstairs parking, when theres so many spaces. The garbage room on P1, smells all the time as you come down from the elevator. Garbage is everywhere. Such a huge inconvenience which you're paying so much money cannot even have nice garbage collection services. When you call for service, no one wants to help you Many of the apartment, the plugs dont work, the bedrooms dont have a main light !!!! its dark The construction is on going everyday every second, and no one wants to hear that all day Parking is a huge issue for me, they take away all the parking spots out front and then they dont give you any alternatives, such as being in our building and parking in the basement (theres 3 levels) and they wont give you parking. If people are already paying 1500-2000 to live there, we would pay for parking, which is I heard is $200-250 to even get a spot. But even then, they wont give it. The outdoor parking now has 15 minute limits, which makes zero sense because natural food pantry and the farmboy, have limited parking spots already, we need more than 15 minutes of parking. Find another place to live!!! to anyone who is thinking to come here.

Applied a unit in mid November. Before applying, I tried to ask about some requirements and they were like "just send your application over and we'll see if it's good" without giving any useful advices. After I sent over the application, they rejected it in a timely fashion with a 90-day clearing period which they did NOT tell me about before I applied. And what they also did NOT tell me is that they actually need more documents from me to assess my application. What kind of company does NOT give the full list of documents needed to their applicant? Then the consultant told me he could ask the manager to speak with me so I agreed. And now it's gonna be 2022 in two weeks and I still haven't heard a single word from their nonexistent manager. Extremely horrible experience before I even move to Ottawa :O

I've been living at 315 for about 2 years and I agree with most of the pros and cons listed in other comments. The place has many advantages and is not all bad but my biggest issue is the lack of transparency from management. Comments about the garage have been swirling since I moved in and I would have expected this to be formally addressed in an email to tenants by now instead of "wanting to chat" with tenants who complain. They can't advertise the place as having bike storage and parking without doing anything about theft and vandalism. This should be at the top of the list of issues a landlord should tackle (I can go without having a barbecue or with temporary construction work but I'd like to feel safe and not to have to avoid certain building spaces)

Very poor and dishonest management. I posted about the state of the garage a few weeks ago. Not only do they not respond when you contact them directly (which eventually led me to posting the review), they actually try to get the review removed and intimidate you by asking for information about your unit and phone number because "they'd like to discuss" instead of addressing anything in writing... Tenants have to deal with the attached pics about every other week or so. Always in the early morning and there's definitely loitering so do the math. Don't park there

I am a resident of Westboro Connection and although I love the apartment I must say that the property management company leaves a lot to be admired. I have had a request for more than 15 days with a water temperature regulator to no avail, and today I called because it is the third time my toilet bowl is clogged and about to overflow and was told to use the other bathroom and they will come on Monday. This wasn't the problem, it was the tone of voice and the choice of words that the operations manager chose which I found very insulting and unprofessional. I will think long and hard before renewing my lease when it is due. It is unfortunate that such a nice building would be run by such an incompetent bunch of people.
