Talulah Payot – Rosemont Mount Royal Community Association (RMRCA) - Talulah helps her family on a weekly basis at the Community Garden by planting seeds, watering the garden, weeding the garden, and then, when the garden is ready, she helped to harvest the vegetables for all to enjoy. At Walker School, Talulah also helps the School Community Council (WSCC). She has participated by helping to set up and cleaning up after a barbeque, and she helped by to carrying snacks for the school snack program. The WSCC had a fundraiser at No Frills and we went and packed groceries – Talulah was right there helping by carrying groceries out for customers. When the RMRCA held its fundraising barbeque, Talulah came out to help at both; the first one, she helped with the children’s games, and during the second fundraising barbeque, Talulah helped by serving customers hotdogs. Talulah also helped with a community clean-up held in downtown Regina on September 2, 2021. Talulah has started her volunteering off on the right foot. It is believed that by acknowledging Talulah’s volunteer efforts, it will show Talulah how important and rewarding volunteering can be.
