β β β β β A great place and visually beautiful. I would buy more there if I weren't on a pension now. For me, I think of the artisan ancient-grain breads and the zero calorie "spaghetti" made of Japanese squash and Kirkland low-fat yogurt. There are a lot of great prepared foods from local sources and many rare alternative products, and a service of getting organic vegetable direct from the farmer. Being able to get frozen organic chicken and fish has been very helpful to me in this particular neighborhood.

β β β β β What a wonderful experience I have each time I visit their grocery store. The staff are friendly, so much so that they greet you by name. The store continuously has interesting products to try. They always support local businesses and bring in new products from business owners who are trying to launch their products. They have a selection of fresh produce, bulk foods and frozen. This is one of my favorite places to visit.

Not only do they support small businesses and artists by stocking their shelves with top quality local products but also they are all about sustainability, and these are the priorities I look for when deciding where Iβm going to shop. And the owners are the kindest people youβll ever meet! They create a genuine feeling of community making it a delightful, relaxing time to shop there.

β β β β β I just moved to the area and this is one of the first places I visited as they have gluten-free/Celiac options. They have a nice selection of gluten-free as well as non gluten-free options and the staff are very friendly. So glad to live close by :)

β β β β β Westwood is legit my favourite grocery store, ever. It's a micro-grocer so be prepared for a more limited selection, but what it might lack in an expansive variety, it more than makes up for in superior quality and a well thought out selection of pretty much everything you could need. You can tell that everything for sale here is carefully chosen with love and an earth conscious lens. Not to mention the owners, Jin and Ray who are two of the most pleasant people you'll ever have the pleasure of purchasing from. It is wise to vote with your dollar at this fabulous establishment. We're young, we're hip and we love West Wood. PERIOD.
