M	Mary Read on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ West towing is taking advantage of people. Parked illegal in parking lot across from hospital . I didn’t see the sign about towing if parked there. I was charged $446.35 to get my car back. I was charged for a days fee when they had my car for less than an hour. They must have someone watching. Shame on the owner of this parking lot located across from the hospital (that was empty when I pulled in at 745am)to penalize Oakville residence so harshly. $ 200 would be reasonable but $446. I was charged $100 more than another victim for the same offence. Oakville you need to regulate these crooks. This is unfair.

Costed me $13 to Taxi it to where they had just dropped my car off. $367 to get my car out. When i showed up to get my car. 3 other people had there cars towed at the exact same place. This company is a bunch of con artists.

However, letting me waiting in the cold for an hour until somebody showed up and threw a ridiculous unreasonable $400+ fine is not cool!! The towing fee according to them is no law based, the guy said they charge whatever they want!!! Like the other reviewer said, I hope karma does its job and sends those hooligans to bankruptcy soon!!!
G	Guodong Chen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful with this company, they try to scam you. start 2020 Jan 1st, Oakville town has new by-law for towing rules. Do not let them over charge you if your car already towed, do not let them tow away your car. Call police for help if necessary (Not 911, The regular line). Do not trust them they have rights to take your car. Do not trust the guy and lady they are the owner of Sunny valley plaza( third line BMO cross hospital). Please note, you should not park there if you need go to hospital. If you want to grab a coffee at starbuks or tim at shell, please be careful someone may watch you walk away from the plaza and when you cross the street, they will tow your car away especially in the morning time or evening. why I know all these? because I just stopped them tow my car away with police's help.

The next morning when I went to get my vehicle he promised to be there in ten minutes and left me standing in the cold and late for work, for half an hour. I don't have anything good to say about my experience with this company, they are predatory and likely should be illegal. I am not sure where they get their fees from except to say they are extortion and theft. The only thing I am praying for is KARMA.

They towed my car that was parked at the retail plaza at Kerr and Speers Road (Food Basics). I've done this route for over 15 years. Park at plaza, walk to get coffee on Kerr and shop local to support small business, then finish in plaza - SHOPPERS AND FOOD BASICS. They have a guy watching you now and if you step foot off the property they take (steal) your car. Cost me $250 and they had it for one hour. They also took my friends car. They made $500 in one hour. SORRY SOUTH OAKVILLE I CANNOT AFFORD TO SUPPORT YOUR BUSINESSES IF YOU ALLOW CROOKS LIKE THIS TO GET AWAY WITH STEALLING YOUR SHOPPERS CARS. When I called company receptionist kept hanging up on me. Very rude, they are heartless people! SHAME ON YOU WEST TOWING!
A	Amanda R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PLEASE READ: Company tried to scam me out of over 400$. My car was towed from an authorized parking lot due to missing the parking permit in my car. I understand that is my error. When asking the owner of West Towing who reported my vehicle to get towed, I was informed there were over 20 cars required to be towed but the company chose to only tow my car. Owner of company set time for appointment after hours to retrieve my car, then attempted to charge me for after hours. I tried to retrieve my car at 3pm, owner of company refused to see me until after hours in attempt to scam more money. He removed after hours fee and then told me if he ever sees my car again he will tow it, legally or not. THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY told me he will tow my car on site if he sees it, even if I have a permit. This company is completely fraudulent. There is no office, staff just show up when collecting cash. No signs on building and no receipt, I believe the plaza owner is paying out this company. Plaza is 5353 Lakeshore Road, my apartment pays to use the parking lot. Spoke with the owner of the plaza on the phone, real piece of work, he just wants money. Hopefully some form of law will send these people to prison where they belong.

I stepped out to go into a building that was literally 10 steps away from where I parked. Within 20 mins I was towed. While waiting for a ride I saw them come back and circle around the parking lot in their truck looking for other cars, like the sleazy vultures they are. Then they charged me $240.
