★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loads of parking. Lots of picnic tables with an end piece made for bbq's. Huge beautiful trees provide ample shade. Huge beach area for kids to play and swim and it's roped off from motor boats. Boat launch is a stones throw from the beach also with tons of parking and a turn around point. You can take the trails between the two or drive it's up to you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful lake with huge open area, beach, and picnic tables galore. I can easily see why West Lake is one of the most popular lakes to go to during the summer around Prince George. Although I didn't walk around the lake I've been told there is a dog area and fire pits off to the right of the main area. 10/10 time there though I suspect it gets very busy during the summer months.
