★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice new addition to Sandbanks for RVs, large or small. Good design. Too bad there's no trees, not even any planted.... Nice trails between campgrounds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great facilities, spacious sites. Looking forward to a future visit after trees have been planted. Very trailer friendly. We tented... a little hard getting the pegs in but ground should loosen up over time. Air bed and extra ground tarp good additions if you're tenting in this part of the park for now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a new campground mostly for RVs. Showers and washrooms are clean. If you are planning to sleep in a tent it gets very hot as there is no shade at all. However , very beautiful park and still worth visiting if you cannot book any other camp sites.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With this being a newer part of Sandbanks P.P, the absence of trees should be noted. And with many of the sites open to on lookers and walking paths that pass by about 20% of these non wooded sites. Also, with being new, the sites are still rather rocky, so you should have an outdoor mate. Tents are aloud on the sites, however, the pull thru sites do not offer much room for large tent set ups, that being said there are some sites in West Lake Campground that do have the room for larger tents. It is still a nice addition and right across the road from the Dunes Day Beach. The pull thru RV sites are also very helpful for people, such as myself, who are not talented in the area of backing up the RV, as of yet. The hospitality centers are lovely and thr staff are helpful and friendly.
