β β β β β ? I usually donβt leave a review unless itβs a good one. Unfortunately there is nothing good about this place. I ordered a Chinese combo and won ton soup. First the food shows up without utensils. Actually, I wouldnβt even call it food as it was the worst thing I have ever eaten. The SNS pork is this fatty piece of pork cooked inside an absolutely gross ? raw batter. I didnβt think you could screw up a won ton soup until now. I would highly recommend staying away from this place. I hope this saves someone some money ?.

β β β β β Itβs really nice to come to a strange town and receive top notch service and good food in a comforting and relaxed environment with a great atmosphere, Great West provided all of this within moments of me sitting down.
I always approach new restaurants with a bit of trepidation as you never really know what to expect, this place looked like it predominantly catered to western tastes which it does but I was delighted to find traditional dishes and tofu on the menu my favourite hot pot β8 jewels hot potβ was called βspecial tofu hot potβ but was still the delightful mix of tofu, vegetables, seafood and pork, absolutely delicious and for kicks I tried the almond chicken which was superb, they also have Mapo Tofu and a host of other dishes. The place was busy with family after family of people packing the place, the servers were excellent fast polite and very kind, and it was wild to watch them hustle and yet be so efficient, great service! The owner was also very nice and has a great sense of humour, the place was very clean and bright so it was very comfortable to enjoy a meal here and I can truly understand why itβs so popular!

β β β β β Thought I'd try west end while in Rupert for the day. I ordered some chowmein with beansprouts and was happy my order was correct upon receiving it (they even wrote it on the lid). For the price the food was great. Cost me just over $10 for some chowmein and I got plenty to enjoy. While I wish the chowmein had some more flavor it was fine how it was and I ate it all.
I do wish they had a vegetable spring roll option as theirs had pork in it. But that is my only complaint.
Overall was a nice meal for a night in Rupert.
