★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum is completely open to the public and has interesting artifacts and displays teaching the history of the county. It's a truly stunning building with a very picturesque trail across it (Aboyne Trail). Definitely worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great museum ! The attendant at the welcome desk was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend; worth a visit to learn about the history of the site and a perspective into life in Elora and environs in the late XIXth and early XXth centuries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Front staff was friendly. Accessible. Lots of attention and effort in detail and information. The flow from room to room was well thought out. Murals throughout were highly detailed. Artifacts were astounding. Clearly lots of research was done for presentation. Certainly one of the best small town museums in Ontario.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A true gem. With two kids, this place can make an afternoon disappear pretty quickly. While the exhibits are wonderful, I have to admit the old fashioned silent movie theatre is a family favourite.
The grounds are gorgeous as well. Whether hiking on a nice afternoon or riding a toboggan down the hill, this property is truly special.

If you are sensible, the history that this place hold will touch your hearth, when was life easy?? Defenetly in those days life wasn't generous to some. If you have time please go true archives, I say: please visit ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If u r visiting Elora, so this museum should be the 1st stop in ur list, very attractive well designed, the war section is so touchy, Monica will meet u downstairs with her lovely smile and will provide u with a lot of info about the place. Also if u r planning to get married the view there is AMAZING for the perfect photo shoot ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place for day out and hiking. Very old culture displayed. There is a trail which is very interesting covered by trees ? …………Mostly people come with their family. Moreover, this place have a library which is quite open, gives you a better outside view……….
