Awesome. Just purchased and installed a full solar system from WeGo, and was so happy with the help & service we got that I felt compelled to write a review. We approached WeGo knowing we wanted a PV system, but not much beyond that. Drew was great in helping educate us on each component of the system and very very helpful/patient in designing a custom system for us (we flip-flopped a lot trying to decide). We ended up with a 1.2 kW solar array, charge controller, 4 kW inverter, and a lot more confidence/understanding of the system. Highly recommend buying through these guys! Drew even met us outside of store hours to let us grab parts, and has been super helpful/responsive to questions we had during installation of the system. P.s., if you want to realize how good the prices are, just look for solar panels at Can Tire... 5x the price per Watt compared to WeGo! What a joke!

Great service from a caring crew. They have the knowledge and experience to help in most any home or off grid installation. My brother and I used them to get the components needed for his 4400W setup. Very happy with the results and guidance they offered.

I am not a big reviewer person, but I felt this company really deserves a review. I have owned over 10 RVs and always struggle with solar systems, mainly batteries lasting over a couple years. I have gone to three different shops in Victoria over many years with always the same result, spending thousands and after a couple years having to replace batteries. I have tried every make of battery with the same result. After driving by WeGo Solar and thinking I might as well try someone else with my new RV. Right away I could tell these people know their products and are quite passionate about their business. They spent time to understand my needs and explain more about batteries than I ever knew. I was still sceptical that I would get better results than all the other times.. Well after 4 years, these batteries are still like brand-new. I barely have to add water to them, unlike the past where I was adding water every month or so. I can sit off grid for a weekend without my generator ever coming on and when it does, it does not take long to bulk up the batteries to last another couple days. All this time and money and no one could ever figure out my battery requirements properly. I am so impressed and thankful with the knowledge this company has. I wish all companies were like this. I highly recommend WeGo Solar.

Well starting off we purchased the whole system the summer of 2020 we r located in goose bay Labrador we r having issues with the batteries that we bought from we go solar , I was speaking with the guy that we ordered the system from and he was a wonderful help but today I called we go solar to advise them that all the batteries are no good this guy Eric would not let me speak to the other guy he said that he was not allowed to talk to us, so speaking to this guy Eric he was very ignorant to me my husband and our person who set up the system for us who btw purchased the same system as us, they will not do anything for us about the the batteries that we paid them a lot of money for. In closing if we go solar can’t treat their customers any better than they did us I will spread the word about how bad this one guy ( Eric) spoke to us and how ignorant and insensitive he is. I found Drew to be extremely helpful. Was able to get what I needed with no problems. I know sometimes its hard to get a hold of them by phone, but for the 2 times I called, someone answered. Email has worked out fine as well. Overall I'm very pleased to have a company close to where I live.

I wanted to share my honest, detailed review of We Go Solar. Last week I drove from Victoria up to Chemainus for some solar equipment to use in our Ford Transit van build. Why did I drive there? Well I called all the stores locally I could have bought from and all of them seemed stand off-ish and like they were unimpressed by my lack of knowledge as a new DIY builder. This is a new project for my wife and I so there is lots for us to learn. After a conversation with Drew (the owner) via both email and phone, I knew it was worth the drive. He was so helpful, appreciative, and always put in the effort to make me feel excited about my project ahead. So I drove up that Thursday morning. Upon arriving, I was slightly taken back by the building appearance, as it’s older and doesn’t match the flashy buildings I am used to in Victoria. However, after stepping foot inside, I once again knew I made the right choice. The entire staff was INCREDIBLY helpful, friendly, and willing to work with me. They took the time to understand my project, goals, and needs first. Then they helped me revise my original plan based on their experience and knowledge. They spent over 3 hours with me mapping everything out and selecting which products I would need down the road. Not once did I feel I was a nuisance, wasting their time, or uneducated. It was once of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had at a business on the island. During my time there I got to hear their story and why they choose to invest their money into their customers and products, instead of making their shop “flashy”. I also got to meet the other owner & Drew’s wife, Carolyn. She was so bright, energetic, and kind! By the time I left, I couldn’t help but feel an immense amount of satisfaction with my choice to support their business and family. I would drive up there 1000 times again and will in the future for all my other products I need. I will also mention that their pricing is beyond fair and often better than what the dealers were selling it for. If you need solar products for your home, van, RV, or any other project, I highly suggest spending a day to visit We Go Solar!

We bought a system from Drew for our off grid home a while back and then recently upgraded it as our needs changed. Drew has been amazing in helping us and made every component work the way it was intended to. I would not have been able to do a majority of the setup without his help and the work of his technician who made our system as plug and play as possible. Top notch service, we highly recommend Drew and WeGo Solar to anyone!

I had an off grid system designed and all components purchased through we go solar. I was amazed at how well it all came together as well as how it has performed. I couldn’t be happier with the service I was provided or the quality of the components I was recommended. I was given a binder with all the necessary installation instructions for all components as well as for set up and trouble shooting and it’s a great reference. I’ve since been back to wegosolar to add on to my system for even more solar generation. I highly recommend and wouldn’t go anywhere else for sales,service or advice.
