★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girl and I stopped in yesterday to grab some milk for hot chocolate, and the lady running cash was such a wonderful, warm presence. So very kind. The name on the receipt said "Shirley", appreciate the hook up Shirley :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very well stocked convenience store. They seem to have anything you may need. There are several large wooden carvings for sale here as well. The name is a nice way to recognize a fond memory of the brothers that gave everyone a friendly wave on the way to the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have passed this gas station a hundred times and never stopped (always waited until I was back in the city), but yesterday I stopped for gas and WOW - was I surprised. The staff were amazingly friendly, the store was clean and organized, and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the lake country location. What really made me happiest though was the COVID protocol. They are NOT fooling around out there! They have a very smooth and efficient process to keep everyone safe and to keep things moving along. I have never had as thorough a job done on contact tracing as they were doing. I will definitely be making it a regular stop on my trips back and forth. Best gas station experience I have had in a long time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to grab a drink and chips and chicken delight staff were glaring and sticking their tongues out at us, making gagging motions, really unprofessional. I literally walked in and walked passed them and that's how you're greeted. They should really think about giving out training in customer service and workplace professionalism. I felt uncomfortable in this gas station, I highly reccomend just driving past and getting your gas at selkirk.
