P	Patrick Dickey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The FACILITY is like staying in a fine Luxury Resort in the Laurentians, Rockies or Europe. That hasn't changed. Opportunities to be actively involved in "LIVING" are many. . Play Virtual Golf on most any Golf Course in the World, play Pool, enjoy Happy Hours 3 days a week. Decorations change overnight by Season with the highlight being the Winter Diorama that draws Young and Old from near and far. This ALL to the credit of our retired Lifestyle Coordinator. I am a Resident with prior experience in 2 other Retirement Residences in Kingston. Am waiting for the "SIENNA WAY" to take effect. We are in bad need of some SIENNA MANAGEMENT attention ! I would like to remove this review as current management is absent and unresponsive.

We stayed for lunch and the soup was cold, the toast was burnt and the sandwich was basically two slices of dry bread with no filling. It's a very expensive place to live, the least they can do is give residents a decent meal!

The Christmas décor is stunning and the staff were friendly as always. I'm happy to see the train back up again this year. I stayed for dinner and the meal was fantastic. My mother in law has lived there for about a year and has only positive things to say.

I have been here for 5 weeks now, and I have been impressed by the staff and the people living here. The daily activities usually start at 0930 with fitness class for all levels to enjoy. Other activities also include; trivia, bingo, crafts, music and some more. The outings activities can take you shopping, dinners, or for a fun ride to see the Christmas lights in the neighbourhood. The activities do not limit themselves only to the day time but also for the evening. You can tag along and go to the movies inside the Waterford or simply go to one of the many music events. So overall the Waterford is the place for me. A place I can call home.

They go above and beyond to help the residents live their lives to the fullest. They are passionate about bringing respect, teamwork, responsibility and constant growth to the Waterford community ,team and residents. Thank you for being an amazing team!

When I first walked through he home for my orientation, I observed the staff laughing and joking with residents, some singing as the worked and many residents gathering amongst themselves playing cards or just enjoying social time together. This showed me immediately that the team was happy and engaged and the residents were socially interactive. As a recreation professional, I could feel the positive energy! I new immediately that this was truly a HOME and exactly where I wanted to continue my career. ?

Every department seems to go above and beyond in caring for the residents. We had absolutely no concerns for his well being while he lived there, even with a pandemic in full swing. There is absolutely no hesitation in recommending this beautiful retirement home.
W	Wicked VW’s on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We first experienced Waterford Kingston about 8 years ago with a parent and it was wonderful. It was well run, well staffed and well maintained. Then new owners came along about 3-4 years ago and the slide to mediocrity began. More than that, the home has slowly lowered its care standards. I’m not even sure if there is a full time RN on staff. We certainly don’t see one now, and the “doctor” is pathetic. The doctor has told us to make visits to her office in order to get injections. Part of the attraction for Waterford was their promise that full time Nursing staff was provided and onsite doctor visits where provided. Don’t count on it. There could be a lot more negative comments, but the bottom line is that this home does not provide what it promises and especially so if you are looking for someone in your family who needs some level of assistance. Poorly run and lower standards. We finally through in the towel and have moved on.
