I think this is quite over priced. The 3 dishes I ordered taste good, but there is so much rice and such little filling. Also did not recieve very much soya sauce, so ran out before finishing 3 rolls. I would not recommend to be honest.

Went to a date night with my wife. Everything worth 5 stars, food not the best but the service is best.

Food was poor. Steak teriyaki was tough and served only with onions. It tasted like it was cooked with white sugar Half my order was not filled until delivery could verify. Sushi is cut very thin and really not worth the money. Shame since the delivery was tipped on total order. They seem to think they do not need to notify consumer about failure to fulfill said order. Will not refer to others or continue business.

Okay, Wasabi Bistro. Is this some kind of a joke? The tempura is a failure. I've never seen tempura that looks like a carrot cake. Mushy, & the freshness is lost. The cucumber in the 88 roll has some kind of aftertaste (not good). 2 star only because the sushi is actually satisfactory (still tolerable). The tempura however, is unacceptable. I should've read the review before ordering! Sorry, I won't be back.

Not sure why the negative reviews on this place. We went as a family last night and had a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, and the service was top notch. We look forward to our next visit here when we're in town !

Went here on a whim as I had a sudden desire for Japanese food. I wasn't really drawn in by the menu of sushi rolls, ended up only ordering two. They were simple - good but not great. The gyoza was good. Service was great, but there was also no one else in the restaurant.

I had a good time here, we went late at night and were the only people in. The food was... more hit than miss, we had a bunch of appetizers. I found the karage to be quite dry, but the gyoza and the sushi were decent. If I was in the area I would definitely go back, it's in an ideal spot for a quick bite and the service was pretty decent. Like I said though, we went late at night so your experience may differ if you go when it's super busy.

Wasabi Sushi is my absolute favorite sushi restaurant. I've been going for years, and had my very first sushi experience there. My friend and I have returned for many long lunches, always having the Volcano roll, and the Mango Shrimp salad along with testing new rolls. The service has always been top notch. The restaurant is always clean, with enough room between tables as to never feel crowded. In summer I love the screened in porch. There are other good sushi restaurants in Winnipeg, but Wasabi is the best. I've now moved to BC and long for some Wasabi Sushi!!!
